Police are demanding to search everything entering the camp site and are even copying every piece of information available on mobile phones (serial numbers, phone numbers stored in the address book etc.). No news on the arrestee last night other than the rumour that he is a "known activist", who the police presumably decided would make a nice token gesture of force. Mainstream media were quick to report that he was arrested for "suspected deception".
Stop-and-searches are being conducted under the Terrorism Act, which is supposed to be for things that could be used in a terrorist attack. These obviously do not include phone numbers, wallets, books and so on.
