The NIMR / MRC /Wellcome Trust / Cancer Research intend to have Regents Park Estate and Somers Town estates - both council estates to be partially demolished to make way for a vast international science site.
A source from British Land has revealed plans for two council estates to be knocked down to make way for the NIMR /MRC etc and the University College London [whose science dept is run by HLS customers!] to run a vast international science site.
Camden council has closed down homeless hostels and many homeless ahve been pushed out of the area. Many of the people living on these estates don't realise what is going to happen. The NIMR have bought premises and land on Hampstead Road [between two council estates] and are bidding for land at Kings Cross.

Not on this scale, but it is happening in Farnborough too.
Almost ten years ago, KPI (a front company for property developer St Modwen) bought Farnborough town centre.
All small retailers have been driven out, half the town centre has now been demolished, three people almost killed). To be repalced by a large supersmarket facing out of the town.
A small housing estate, social housing, to be destroyed to make way for a car park for the supermarket.

Locals were kicked out of flats 'for redecoration' then spend years in hostels in Kings X.

High Street Anwyhere? Look what happened to Notting Hill. Look what happened to Brixton. etc etc ( add your city/town./village here ). Shipped out to the estates in the middle of nowhere. Blackbird Leys or from the East End to Harlow Newtown?
