politician Peter Haine accepted donations from a Mr. Kaye for his election campaign,
even after the campaign ended, his excuse is that he had ignorance of the rules governing donations. All politicians have to sign a declaration to accept the rules and that they understand them. So logic would dictate that a defence of ignorance
would be applied,if the case be tried. That means that we would have a right to that plea,should the powers that be not sweep it under the carpet,and Haine wins! whoopee!!
