Milk round back in town! Remember green top milk?
Unpasteurised milk delivered directly to your door – straight from the farm

James and Keith Jefferson Smith from Grove Farm in Suffolk intend to direct-market their milk – with a London based milk round. The round was launched at Walthamstow farmers’ market Sunday 3rd of February where they will be selling their milk and cream on a weekly basis. The family has been selling their unpasteurised milk and cream to a dedicated band of farmers’ market supporters for several years. Keith has paired up with Eddy Kazim, a local milk man who is going to take on the milk round, focusing on North and North-East London. The milk is raw milk from Jersey cows, which are on pasture 10 months of the year. They are solely grass-fed for 8 months of the year, from about March to December. In the remaining months their diet is supplemented with hay and silage produced on the farm. If successful, they are open to expansion to other areas in and around London,

Keith Jefferson Smith said –

‘We’ve been hoping to get this venture off the ground for several years. More and more people want to buy our milk and now we’re able to bring it to them. Customers are so enthusiastic they’ve been drumming up support for us’

Keith will be back at Queens Park farmers' market from 2 March

Welcome if you're new to farmers' markets.

We've seen a huge surge in chicken buying in the past few weeks. No surprises as to the reasons why.

All of the poultry at our markets are reared in small, high standard flocks and are either free ranging or organic. We inspect every single farm before they're allowed to sell with us and we're proud that you can have total confidence in the food you buy from our farmers.

Contact us at  info@lfm.org.uk if you'd like to know more.
