Sleep-out in solidarity with destitute refugees – Birmingham, 13 June

On Friday 13th June, on the eve of Refugee Week, people from many communities in Birmingham will be coming together to
protest against British government's treatment of asylum seekers and remembering those who died while
seeking asylum here due to self-harm, denial of medical treatment, destitution, hazardous working conditions
or racist attacks.

The protest has been organised by the West Midlands Anti Racist Campaign (ARC) and West Midlands
Activist Network. This is the fifth sleep out that we will be organising to highlight the conditions faced by
asylum seekers and refugees in this country.

Are you going to restore my hidden or deleted comment? It congratulated No Borders on their support for this event and requesting the presence of the banners 'funky' (whatever) in the name of NoBorders Brum took control of last year as if they were some kind of trophy? At the time he claimed they could be used for events - the usual BS.
And why were the banners not at the event? Where are they? Gathering dust? Do they even still exist?

The administration of Birmingham Indymedia is biased, personally motivated and a deeply unfunny joke. It must be investigated: the admin seem to be spending more time trolling people in a weird disruptive class treachery vendetta than anything else.
