David Davis Political Challenge

ilyan | 13.06.2008 14:44 | Social Struggles

David Davis ex MP shows the way for socialist MPs to get rid of the perversions of New Labour.

Those socialists who had to vote against Brown's Bill should also be resigning.

Read up David Davis Politician in Wikipedia to get some idea of his background and the probability that he has a wider political understanding than most Party hacks. (Communist .Party Grandfather who was disowned by his father).

He seems unppoular with some on the Right. Has he perhaps taken uo a line of independent thought realising that most of the social ills affecting modern Society are rooted in Thatchers's tax cuts. Can the Nation afford to have a man of principle active in politics. That seems to be the reason for much of the attacks being mounted by the Media.

There was a David Robert Davis born 14th December 1934 who I regret losing contact with. It would be very instructive to have his views on things like this, and to know how he coped with the consequences of his schooling.

Who would have thought back in 1997

that Labour would lead us to near total fascism and that the last man standing between this and total fascism would be a Tory...

Finally someone taking the stand

14.06.2008 13:48

Finally someone taking the stand and yet I think of Micheal Howard who started the process off in the first place. It's not going to change much other than forcing a debate in the press and what surprise that the "former" Sun editor issue a challenge. Robert Murdock and, all that, who's an Aussie and an British MP by proxy.

Two things that I like to see is an end to Polticalisation of the Police Force and "someone" to do a "falling off" a yacht whiles on hoilday near Isreal.

Not surprising at all.

17.06.2008 07:36

It is not surprising at all. Labour has always had a tendency towards authoritarianism and Conservatives of liberty. This is really the main difference between the two parties. So if you look at economic policy Labour has supported interventionism and Tories lassie-fair or market forces, it is all the same ultimate philosophy.

It is a sad irony that political parties tend to pass laws that they don't support, because they have less resistance. So a Labour administration is more likely to pass laws restricting freedom (as we have seen, we now live in a big brother society) and it was largely the Heath government that brought about the abolition of Grammar schools. Bizarre!
