Shortly after the tents starting to be erected two people from the Greater London Authority approached campers to inform them that they were in breach of bylaws and could be liable for prosecution. At the bottom of the letter they handed out it was stated that this had nothing to do with SOCPA. Later a copper arrived to verify that this GLA warning had been understood by the demonstrators.

beautiful word Gazebo - "we the great Gazebo built"
21.06.2008 16:50

We the great gazebo built,
They convicted us of guilt;
Bid me strike a match and blow."
from a W.B. Yeats (1835-1939) poem
