Free Vegan Food For All! 4/07/08*

To promote Saturday's Viva! Veggie Roadshow, and as ever to promote veganism, members of Nottingham Animal Rights & Veggies distributed free vegan food and literature outside the council house.

The public were all too happy to enjoy great-tasting, cruelty-free food and an overwhelming number of passers-by were eager to find out where they might sample further veggie food. A special thanks goes to Squeek, Bute Island Foods, Screaming Carrot, Plamil Chocolate and Veggies for generous donations that enable us to keep offering such events.

Maybe Veggies are really busy and haven't got the time to come to your town to feed you in front of 'your council house' ? Do it yourself !

The next scheduled Free Vegan Give-Away is planned for UN World Food Day, 16th October, which is also the annual Global Day of Action against McDonalds (etc), and two days before Veggies Catering Campaign's 24th anniversary!
