Beleaguered Minister for Borders and Immigration Phil Woolas took a cream pie to the face in Manchester this afternoon as he attended a debate at Manchester University. Woolas was also presented with the first annual 'eco-nationalist of the year' award.
The action was carried out by manchester no borders in response to the Minister's reactionary comments over the past week - including such gems as capping uk population at 70 million, making already inhumane immigration controls even harsher, and claiming that a response to the coming recession should be to encourage employers to discriminate against foreigners...he had it coming!
