Nazis at HLS?

Brian Cass | 21.11.2008 18:44 | Animal Liberation | Anti-racism | Cambridge

There is a more than reasonable chance that some of these people work at HLS.

Given the recent release of the BNP membership list, some of us wonder whether these nazis have links with Huntingdon Life Sciences, and we intend to find out.

Many of the sickest of all the nazis worked in the concentration camps, it makes sense that they continue to do so, this time in the Governemnt backed vivisection facilities.

Please remember that these people work long hours to 'care for the animals' and can usually only be contacted by telephone in the early hours of the morning.

Hitler was a vegetarian

Hmmm,

21.11.2008 23:32

I think that you should have paid more attention in history lessons, as horrible as the BNP are you cannot call them Nazi's as I doubt they have much in common with the tenants of 1930s German National Socialism. Still let's not let that get in the way of adding 2 and 2 and getting 5.

Still, the BNP are fascist scumbags anyway

HIstoryGeek

To all above......

22.11.2008 09:39

Hitler was a vegetarian because his Doctor advised him to follow the diet because like you he had a flatulance problem!!

People that work in Vivisection labs ARE nazis and becoming members of the BNP makes it official!

Would you have the same compassion (humans are animals) to the vivisectors in Nazi Germany?

So there!

People in vivisection labs are bad cruel& unscientific, nazis are worse

22.11.2008 11:22

look up Dr Mengele & co, vivisection is wrong, Mengele never used anesthetic.NSDAP Nazis started up in similar ways to BNP, oh so democratic my arse!!
Nazis in Germany had alot of people like your aunty or neighbour down the street,"lovely people".

reflecting on my previous comment it didn't make much sense.

on vivisection i would share the views peter singer.

i meant that just because these people do things that others consider unmoral doesn't give you the right to treat them badly.

Moral Relativism

22.11.2008 14:40

re: johnstuartmill's comment: "just because these people do things that others consider unmoral doesn't give you the right to treat them badly."

So in that case, if you thought that firebombing BNP members' houses is immoral, you shouldn't treat badly those anti-fascists that do this?

---

It's possible that some of the BNP members work at Huntingdon Life Sciences, but a bit of a tenuous connection. However, they are BNP members anyway, so if they get shit for being animal torturers when they aren't, it doesn't really matter!

More left-liberal Hypocrisy

22.11.2008 15:35

Some comments were recently removed from Indymedia because they contained personal contact details as shown here :

 https://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/11/412934.html?c=on#c207361

If, as the above moderator suggests, such details will 'always' be removed then why is this post being allowed ?

Seems the same old double standards always seem to apply with you middle-clarse liberals doesn't it ?

not sure what you're point is?

22.11.2008 17:02

i'm not sure what you're point is? it depends what you mean by "treating badly". taking from my alias' works, i would say their liberty should be restricted as firebombing someone's house presumably means to injure them, and so they shouldn't do that.

Harm?

22.11.2008 18:29

I wonder how John Stuart Mill relates his 'Harm Principle 'philosophy to those who enjoy hunting wildlife for fun, such as David Cameron and the likes??

Nah...

23.11.2008 05:54

"People that work in Vivisection labs ARE nazis"

No. They really, really aren't.

Whatever criticisms - valid as they are - may be made of the vivisection industry, I'm not aware of HLS and its allies murdering several million human beings (which, like it or not, most people value over animals - not to say they don't value animals period), crushing the union movement, enforcing a totalitarian state, sterilising minorities, or setting out to conquer most of Europe. Nor of advocating such things.

If you're against them, fine, but calling them Nazis is idiotic.

Don't you realise that.......

23.11.2008 10:43

......HLS and their allies do kill millions of people worldwide and also kill billions of animals worldwide!

Most of this is done in concentration camp style labs........like the Nazi scientists!

And another thing....

23.11.2008 11:13

oh and they are also forcing the government to take some of our freedoms away (SOCPA) and if they had there own way would be more draconian than the government........They also write on forums that they would like to Rape, Kill and Burn all animal rights activists alive........nothing like the Nazi movement then eh!

Why is anyone DEFENDING these monsters?

25.11.2008 21:43

Nowhere within this article is there a suggestion of "firebombing" these people, or injuring them at all.

Does anyone here require an explaination of what the BNP stand for? If so, I would suggest Googling them, and perhaps you can attempt to defend them after reading the manifesto.

Also, it might be interesting to note that those who commit acts of violence against weaker humans usually start with animals. Even those who don't care about animals should take note of this, and consider the fact that cruelty against one often leads to cruelty to the others.

I live in the North West UK. In my home town, there are three people on the leaked BNP list. I only know of one of them personally. The sole reason I know him is because he is known in the area for supplying pornographic dvds featuring animals.

You can say what you like about "defending the human rights" of these people. But, as far as I'm concerned, disgusting attitudes towards animals and disgusting attitudes towards humans are as bad as each other, and I have nothing but contempt and disgust for either.

Jenny McCarthy
