Unknown persons set on fire two luxury cars

Berlin, December 19th 2008

In the night to Friday two upperclass cars were put on fire in Berlin. About 1.20 a.m. two people walking by Eldenaer Strasse saw fire coming out of the engine compartment of a mercedes. It was severely damaged by the flames.

About 20 minutes later an inhabitant of Hornstrasse reaslized a Chrysler burning. A Golf standing next to was also damaged by the heat. In both cases the Berlin Fire Brigades extinguished the flames.

The political police Staatsschutz took over investigations, as a political motive for the arsons can not be excluded. This year already more than 60 cars had been burned in the capitaql, presumably for political reasons.

Colour attack on fashist shop

Nürnberg, December 18th 2008

Joy for all at christmas time?

For sure noit for the fashists running the Tonsberg shop in Nürnberg. The mo0re so for Antifas. On Wednesday morning the facade of the Thor Steinar trademark shop really didn look good.

Eight big black splodges were spread all over windows, walls and entrance. It was bitumen, which is extremely hard to clean away.

The whole Saturday a cleaning company was occupied getting rid of it. Threy even needed to go back and get special equipment. A communique explains the attack: Protest against fashist shops like Töndberg is useful and important. But we think that this is not enough. One also have to make live harder for fashists - also financially - by direct actions. Fashist shops do not pay. As it is hard and time consuming to get rid of nazi structures through the courts, we calls for adressing the problem in a militant way as well." The4 activists continue: "Even though some cop cars were patroulling the area, it was possible to act in a quiet minute. We must not allow them to intimidate us."

Although this action builds the climax of direct acticism so far, all the smaller actions that took place should not be forgotten. Varoious companies (from PC-Dokto to Dixie-Toilets) tried in vain to get their delievries to the Nazis. Another time the window got spray painted with "Nazis raus", unfortunately cleaned way too quickly. Again and again the shop was used to depisit ugly waste and make use of the pub lic toilet in the entrance. The window repe4atedly was sprayed with diverse stuff. This list might well be incomplete and waits to be added to. Hey ho, let's go: to the demo on Saturday (redside.antifa.net) and into a 2009 determined by struggle, hopefully without Tonsberg soon...

Tank redesigned

Colbitz-Letzinger Heide, December 17th 2008

In the "Natural-spacial central unit D29 Wendland and Altmark (Colbit7z-Letzinger Heide), between Magdeburg and Stendal, these days one of the biggest military training grounds of Europe is emerging. Since 1943 the biggest limetree forest of Germany is used by the military. Still today the biggest areal in this country that is not in agricultural use is a military training ground (or, as the camouflage killers name it: TrübPl). Every day tanks and other military vehicles drive through this natural space and destroy it. Maybe the tank memorial (52∞21'9.67"N 11∞31'25.19"E) was put there to remind people of the constant destruction of nature inflicted by the military? To show to civilians accidentrally walking by that the military is not welcome anymore? Or maybe not...

Some antimilitarists from the region discovered this socalled memorial on one of their Monday hiking tours on a Tuesday. For moral and aesthetical reason they felt the urgent need to act! At 1.35 a.m. the painters started to give a new face to the tank. You may guess... t6he colour of the hour: PINK - After 2678 seconds the memorial radiated through the night in bright pink. Now the peace activists entered part II of their transformation measure and add some details: For example two slogans were placed there:

"Turn tanks into tureens" & "Solidarity with Milit[ant] Group"

Furthermore the action is directed against all kinds of police violence, against the restrictions planned on the law granting the right of assembly in Baden-Württemberg and against the cops responsible for the murder o0f Oury Jalloh hat went out of court free." Finaly the communique states: "Alexandros is present in our struggle for a society without classes!! On with international solidarity! Freedom for all political prisoners!"
