Islam, as tas would want you to forget, is based on the teaching of the Old Testament, being just another fork of Judaism, as is Modern Christianity. The so-called 'abusive' aspects of teaching in holy Islamic texts merely ape exactly the same content from the original holy Jewish texts.

The vast majority of Muslims do not relate to the nastier parts of their Holy books any more than the vast majority of Christians relate to the multiple obscenities contained within the Old Testament part of their Bible. Looking at the actions of the Jewish state (their description) of Israel, and its supporters, I'm not sure one can say the same thing about the majority of followers of Judaism.

However, in fairness, judged across the millennia, only Christianity has consistently been the religion of aggressive war, invasion, racism, genocide, etc. The teachings of the New Testament seem mealy-mouthed when one considers the pro-war, pro-slavery, pro-racism, pro-genocide stance of Popes and Bishops across the ages.

One thing we know for sure. It wasn't the BNP or NF fascists that murdered maybe 200+ people in Afghanistan a few days back. That terror bombing that exterminated family after family after family, for the crime of being Muslim, was entirely a New Labour Nazi/Obama action, a massive race-hate crime that has the complete support of all the shills that post in support of Israel, New Labour, 'Muslim-bashing', or the various wars of aggression currently waged or planned against Muslim nations.

One of the pillars of islam is that Mohammed is the final messenger of god (allah). Mohammed married a 6 year old and consummated the marriage when the child was aged 9 - that is paedophillia whichever way you look at it.

So maybe you're right that Islam and Fascism are different as Fascism also doesn't have the bullshit about flying up to heaven on a magic horse.

Now this is just a small sample of the anti-jewish stuff in the Quran, I haven't even started on the text about killing christians and nonbelievers. The point is, while I don't condone fascism at all, Islam is just as bad and deserves no protection or priveledge.

Perhaps the worst thing about Islam (and also Christianity) is that it says god will end the world in a judgement day. Isn't it a bit dangerous to be believing in that when mankind has nuclear weopans?
