10,000 for Smash EDO Brighton Mayday 2010

Smash EDO | 13.05.2009 15:50

We are already planning the next smash EDO event for 2010 already. This time we are determind to get at least ten thousand people out on the streets of Brighton for the 2010 Mayday smash EDO event. Get organised and get involved in the campaign!

Contact us at the website below. Ten thousand is the absolute minimum numbers we intend to achieve for the next national smash EDO event. Organise in your local area for transport etc down to the next smash EDO event. We want hundreds of coaches to come from across the country. We are going to show EDO that we want them out of Brighton and out of Britain.

Indeed, that is absolutely true. Didn't mean to sound hierachical... ; )

EDO Smasher

Just a thought......

14.05.2009 00:17

I'd suggest as 9 anti-EDO people are presently going to trial facing serious charges and prsion time and have to get the case over to 12 ordinary folks from Brighton who will form the jury....it might be time for a change of tack from the "smah 'em up" emphasis.

The jury should be reminded that it is EDO and the Israeli air force who smash up people's lives and social infrastructure.

Be careful not to play into the hands of the prosecution....as they'd like to present these 9 good people as dangerous and threatening to the community.

Just a thought

Yes, you must think tactically

14.05.2009 12:19

Smash EDIO have had a lot of bad press in the The Anus (the local paper for Brighton). It is no doubt true that a lot of this was unfair, but it will make it easier for the prosecution ot paint you as a bunch of hoodlums in the upcoming trial.

Maybe now is the time to make nice with the people of Brighton, in a kind of "Make friends, not war" sort of way?

Just a thought.

Stop arguing and get organising now for smash EDO 2010!

14.05.2009 16:13

QUOTE: "this is not true it is not posted by the members of the smash EDO campaign in Brighton"

And you know what all 200 members of the smash EDO campaign in Brighton think and want???? How do you know who ever you are that this was not posted by smash EDO members?

Look stop arguing and get organising for the Smash EDO 2010 Mayday event. The fact that so called "leaders" of the campaign could only muster 2,000 is a great disgrace! The campaign to get ten thousand out onto the streets for next years event is something to be fully supportted.

Anti-arms trade campaigner

Bullshit post.... see shacwatch for details...

14.05.2009 17:29

SHACwatch who we believe is run by Steve Discombe and other officers have posted comments on one of their blog posts saying that I (Chris) from Netcu Watch posted this news item. I can confirm I did not post this, obviously the police STILL don't understand the concept of no organisers no hierarchy yet.

If anyone wonders if this comment is fake please see our twitter post reference "SHACWATCH LIES" for confirmation.

Smear Tactics

14.05.2009 20:00

The police with the help of the Argus are clearly now on a mission to ratchet up the tension, smear and Smash SmashEDO and they will both make full use of Indymedia to do this.

Anti-arms trade campaigner (2)

ugh

14.05.2009 20:47

What's the betting that this fake post is going to end up in the Argus on a slow news day?
I wouldn't be surprised if one of their "investigative journalists" just posted it to invent the story, ala The Sun "Islamic extremeists targetting Alan Sugar"

Oh Drat foiled again

You pesky anti-arms trade kids have found us out. Quick Graham let's scarper they're on to us.

What are you on about? Why do you get on all these threads constantly ordering the threads to be deleted? Who do you think you are that you can order Indymedia to delete threads?
