What an odd tactic

incompetent - lost my vote
19.05.2009 21:04
They've used istockphoto's for 4 testimonials which mean they are completely made up. I've nearly used the old couple in some of my own work.
I realise pretty much every testimonial is fake (i've worked in media for 15+ years and can't remember how many times i've done it). But, they must realise they are going to get spotted being in politics. If they can't work this out, this simple really easy thing, a schoolboy error, then I can't have any confidence in them at all.

incompetent slackers
19.05.2009 21:11
see what i mean - incompetent. And i don't know what they are going on about the "ruse" being uncovered. Anyone who uses stock image libraries would spot it in 2 seconds.
Totally incompetent. If they can't even oversea the production of a leaflet then they can't do anything right. All public servants and their wannabes are completely incompetent. They've failed to survive in the commercial world due to lack of talent, so have to go the subsidised world of government instead.

British jobs for Oregon male models
19.05.2009 21:21
"
British jobs for British workers," the BNP's advert demands. The problem is that the builders pictured in the photo are hardly home-grown: they hail from Oregon, on the far side of the United States. The far-right party yesterday found itself derided after admitting that the beefy models posing in the picture were sourced from a photo agency in Portland, Oregon.

They MUST have known their literature will be under the spotlight like any political party. But its no the first time, the manchester conjestion charge people used fake testimonials too with stock photos.

...and the soldier too
20.05.2009 08:46
And the soldier pictured has labelled the BNP "scumbags" for using his photo and attributing a racist quote...

Cute idea about inviting the BNP for tea. You could also have fun confusing them up by saying things like "It's great you're pro St George" (wait for nods) "...his mum was Palestinian, wasn't she?"

Not odd
20.05.2009 12:09
The tactic is not one I could endure, especially as I'm opposed to ALL of them, but if you're planning to give the BNP a cup of tea, do make sure it's spiked with a very powerful and persistent laxative. I did say the tactic was..err..bog standard.

So.....

Anyway, I'd love to see 'em try canvassing round BD7. I might cook me some popcorn and watch the fun :-)

bnp wearing their brains on their sleeves...again...
20.05.2009 16:40
Having watched the following (seen on WAG's youtube site), I doubt any of the bnp retards could hold an intelligent conversation and drink tea at the same time...not least without spilling it..imbeciles
These are nasty people with nasty agenda's....and nasty things will surely happen to them.
PS- Don't you have to state the cost of premium texts (im assuming the number on the piece of shite that intruded into my house is for a premium text thingy?)-if so, shouldnt we all be putting a complaint into OFCOM?

Griffins tea with the Queen
20.05.2009 16:44
The leader of the far-right British National party is to attend a garden party hosted by the Queen, it was claimed today. Nick Griffin will accompany Richard Barnbrook, a BNP member of the London Assembly, as his guest at the event on July 21, Mr Barnbrook said. A BNP spokesman said: “Richard Barnbrook has got an official invite in his capacity as a member of the London Assembly and he is allowed to bring a guest, which will be Nick Griffin.

Tea with liz

...perhaps she's read this too and is trying the delaying tactics...or maybe phillip the facist invited them for a likeminded afternoon of being 'british'?
