Pictures from the SOAS occupation - 16th June

IMCista | 17.06.2009 00:20 | Education | Migration

The main SOAS building has been occupied by students and campaigners for the second day running over the detention and deportation of foreign cleaners and the management's sickening role in the orchestrated immigration raid on Friday, 12th June. Another rally was held today outside the building, followed by a march round the surrounding colleges. Here it is in pictures.

They were illegal immigrants though so were here illegally!

Those cleaners were illegal immigrants though so were here illegally. Therefore it was right to arrest them and to deport them!

realist

yeh, their targetting had nothing to do with SOAS bosses being pissed off that

17.06.2009 12:01

they helped lead a successful union campaign for a general wage rise that supports all people & workers?
Alot of capitalist right wing London would grind to a halt if it wasnt for poor immigrant labour from most third world countries.

Its bad whichever way you look at it, luckily for those loser corrupt politicians & bosses supporting exploitation theres people like you about to help remind other workers that if they step out of line this could happen them.
Well done, hope you feel proud!
Well we wont back down ever, just like many people in the UK didnt in WW2, when stalin & hitlers staff were having love ins & America had its back turned.
Britain is the Birth place of the cooperative movement & what little modern democracy we have, we will defend it & we will improve it.

Now go & live on Ben Nevice or go to Iran or Saudi Arabia or fascist parts of Italy, if you dont like London, FFS.

PS,thanks for that chance for me to put that in writing, troll licker

Not on Ben Nevis

17.06.2009 14:55

Characters like "realist" are NOT wanted on the slopes of Ben Nevis, thank you. Like any mountain facing the north Atlantic, it's a place where everyone needs to look out for, support and help each other. If not, people can die. So no place for "realist's" misanthropic mentality there at all.

What's legality got do with it? All the most vicious and destructive crimes are perfectly legal.

(Crime = doing harm to others.)
