Incinerators don't burn all the material that is fed into them, as I understand it 35% remains as
"left overs". 30% is heavy bottom ash which is highly toxic. and 5% Fly ash which is pure even worse.
Some of this might go into Landfill sites, or be used as ballast in road building and some of it goes into concrete and other building materials. All this material will no doubt kick start the local building industry and have a positive impact on the local economy. The nano particles are also rather hazardous but Governments and Local authorities are very reluctant to even admit that these exist.
Of course I am talking about incinerators that burn domestic waste being as the material burnt in this incinerator is already highly toxic it seems like a death sentence for a large % of the local population.
