Has anyone seen this lad before - Vestas Security...

Witness the FITness | 27.09.2009 16:12 | Energy Crisis | Repression | Workers' Movements | South Coast

The security firm employed by Vestas to 'protect' 'their' factory on the St. Cross Business Park, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight has been kept secret by both companies. It seems to employ a large number of ex-military types, who have apparently done tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia. There were a few scots to begin with, now there's a fair few geordies and one Northern Irish , plus miscellaneous others. More pics when we can...

For now, here's Public Enermy Number 1. We believe his name is David 'Dave' Knox. any info gratefully recieved, natch..!

oh, and some coppers baring their teeth on the day the 'blade blockade' camp was evicted (by 120 of their friends, at 6.30am)

You should be able to check his Security Industry Association tag - oh no look, he doesn't have one. Another renta-a-cop breaking the law.

Military Intelligence Units Infiltrating Activist Networks

27.09.2009 22:57

Just a few words of warning.

Can't say too much, but I would be very wary of new faces on the block or chatty people that start buying you drinks down the pub and asking a lot of questions. They may look the part, but could be quite a handful of trouble down the road.

Interesting read:

Yeah, and be careful about what lies you tell to todays enemies as tommorow they'll publicise that as false evidence. Things turned nasty in 2001 and have got steadily worse though military types were always infiltrating everything.

I'm likely to be meeting one of the admitted employers in this field later this year, ex-SAS guy who is very good at his new job(s), to my misfortune. If I get half a chance I'm going to ask him for an interview and he seems the ballsy sort who may agree. Now he is never going to answer anything specific but I'm hoping he will open up about general attitudes in his profession. I'm planning on asking him mostly historical stuff, like SAS involvement with the Khmer Rouge in the 80's and why they broke ranks over that. What he thinks of politicians and the state of the UK. Also I'll try to ask about some recent stuff, like how he has beefed up security at local arms factories, what rules and morality he imposes on the infiltrators he deploys, stuff he may actually talk about. If he does talk, anyone here have any safe questions that you'd like him to answer?

Danny
