You are right, the Oslo parlimentiary jurors are obviously snubbing his other skills, like economics - or literature. After all he has written two books. His books didn't win any prizes but they did become best sellers. The US people had hope for change, and most wanted peace.

Yet when Obama promised an end to the Bush resource wars, well, he bombed Pakistan. Today he is sending another 12000 troops to slaughter Afghani women and children to sustain his own domestic popularity. He seems to being rewarded for not being Bush, but his policies are no less venal for that.
