Danny falsely accused several prominent activists, including individuals with the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Greenpeace, as well as climate change activist Tamsin Omond, of various heinous crimes as part of an online smear campaign:

Danny's vitriolic behaviour has helped ruin the reputations of several alternative media outlets, and he has helped the police in Scotland arrest several long-time and respected peace and anti-war activists. He has a long record of smearing activists and distorting information for his own purposes. The fact that he is a stated supporter of anti-democratic regimes in Iran and Libya and has reported the names and addresses of several activists to their embassies and has openly proclaimed that anyone opposing the fascist regimes in Iran and Libya should be harassed and maimed should alarm any serious activist.

Danny has admitted to being a member of the far-right and is a known member and supporter of the BNP and recently has been involved with the racist EDL:

Danny though claiming to be an anarchist actually encourages people to vote for the SNP and has threatened violence against anyone who doesn't vote SNP:
