Socialism tolls the funeral bell for capitalist society

Juche Idea Study Group of England | 29.04.2010 20:13 | Other Press

As the capitalist system lurches towards more crisis and turmoil the superiority of
socialism becomes clearer. Here we release an article from the Anti Imperialist National
Democratic Front of South Korea giving a Juche perspective socialism

Socialism tolls the funeral bell to the capitalist society

Socialism was dismantled in the east European countries at the end of the last century.

The mouthpiece of capitalism accentuated that history brings socialism to end and capitalism to immortality.

The US, called a “locomotive of capitalism,” finds itself in a tough spot by a chronic economic slump.

According to a recent survey, the US budget deficit in the fiscal year 2010 would increase 1,560 billion US$ by September this year. The New York Times estimated that the budget deficit in the fiscal year 2010 would reach approximately 11 per cent of the total value of industrial product. The US is in debt US$ 13 trillion. The jobless people number 15.4 million and the unemployment rate is 10 percent as of December last year.

The United States has been reduced to the biggest debtor from the biggest creditor. This is a miserable plight of the US that boasted of being the “dollar imperial.” According to a poll released in New York, 85 per cent respondents deplored the sluggish economic situation of the US.

The Washington Post described the last ten years as “lost ten years” through views from experts in economy and commented that the ten years repeat in the US. A financial predicament and rapid increase of military expenditure and budget deficit by a war on terrorism rattle the US and drive the US to a quagmire.

European countries including France, Italy and the Netherlands suffer economic impasse. The unemployment rate in the European Union exceeds 10 percent. The number of the unemployed is over 11.97 million in south Korea.

The people suffer misfortune and misery owing to political disorder and economic debacle in the countries where capitalism was revived.

A UK cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church told the members of parliament, politicians and businesspersons that capitalism met its ruin since the declaration of the end of socialism not less than 20 years ago with the collapse of Berlin wall in 1989.

Now socialism is advancing as a righteous banner of humanity. It is because socialist Korea is highlighted as a bastion of socialism in the world and is moving forward as a locomotive of global socialist movement.

The head of a delegation of the Socialist Workers’ Party of Hungary said that socialism was started from Europe but now it is disseminated from the DPRK to Europe.

The Secretary-General of the Socialist Party of Pakistan said that as Muslims regard a pilgrimage to Mecca as their lifelong obligation, the politicians from different countries regard visit to Pyongyang, a citadel of socialism and beacon of hope, as their honor and obligation of the politicians.

Indeed, socialist Korea founded by President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, and is being developed by leader Kim Jong Il, the sun of Songun, is a pillar of socialism.

Korean socialism built in conformity with the will and national character of the Korean people is the people-centered socialism where the people are masters of everything and everything serves them.

The popular masses play a decisive role as masters of national sovereignty. The source of the invincible might of the people-centered socialism is the single-hearted mind between the leader, Party and people. The single-minded unity is mightier than a nuclear weapon and sends the imperialists a tremble with apprehension and fear.

The popular masses take position as master of the economy and are provided with the right to live in the Juche-based socialist society.

Everything serves the popular masses in the socialist society. As well known to the world, ubiquitous in the DPRK is the slogan “We serve the people!”

The state provides the people with stable jobs and supply food at a price next to nothing. It enforces the universal free medical care system service, the 11-year universal compulsory education system, dwelling houses with state expenditure and enforces all other measure for them.

Songun Korea demonstrates its might as an independent political power defending its national independence, self-reliant giant unflinching in any economic crisis of the world and independent military power safeguarding its national dignity.

Now all fields including politics, culture and the economy in different countries of the world are Americanized owing to the US policy of “internationalization” and “globalization.” However, Korean socialism is praised by humanity as it fully displays the national character.

Indeed, Korean socialism is a true socialism as it maintains independence in politics, self-reliance in the economy and self-defense in guarding the nation.

The chairperson of the People’s Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru said: Korean socialism is the people-centered socialism where the popular masses are masters of the country and everything serves them. And at the same time it is leader-centered socialism where the people rallied around the leader. Korean socialism built on the basis of the Juche idea and the single-hearted unity of the leader and people is the most ideal and successful socialism that has been existed up to now, I think.

Now the progressive humankind highly eulogizes Songun Korea, a fortress of socialism and beacon of hope.

Kim Jong Il is developing the DPRK into a country of satellite launch, a nuclear state and a power of Juche iron, CNC and vinalon with his energetic Songun revolutionary leadership, putting into practice the cause of building a socialist thriving nation where the national power is strong, everything thrives and people live without envy in the world.

Definite is leader Kim Jong Il’s timetable for building a socialist thriving nation and the history of socialist movement is advancing on his own will.

The 21st century will shine the century of global victory of Juche socialism under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, the sun of Songun.
