While we support your right to challenge the state and in particular the involvement of the IMF in Greece's affairs we must know that you do not sanction or support the killing of innocent people.
The firebombing of this bank was a wreckless act, to have thrown petrol bombs into the ground floor of a building, irrespective of whether it had adequate fire provision or was or was not occupied, is a very dangerous and stupid thing to do.
The fact that a pregnant woman died in this attack is appalling.
Statement please.

Let's just get a couple of things straight as I see the samaritans are out in force eager to implicate certain groups with yesterdays event without even possessing the slightest understanding of the situation.
December 08 demonstrated in the most emphatic way that there were many people/groups that were willing to destroy property for their own reasons. Some were hooligans who took advantage of the general atmosphere, some were teenagers who again vented their general frustration in that manner, some were anarchists, others leftists, even individuals who saw no escape from life's difficulties. Finally there is also clear evidence that police were involved in an attempt to create a general climate of fear within the country, that random violence was a real threat. These policemen/women have been caught on camera yet no charges have been brought forward to this day. In fact the mainstream media did their best to quickly bypass that particular aspect of the riots in order to address their true goal which was the criminalisation of ideologies and the end of asylum within University premises.
Now regarding yesterday; Any of these groups or individuals may have been responsible for this criminal act (I state criminal not because a bank burnt down but because 4 lives were lost.) yet most of the commentators here seem to have suddenly developed a sophisticated understanding of the various elements of Greek society and have concluded that it was in fact the anarchists that did it and should therefore forever hang their heads in shame. The people that did this could not have been anarchist; Not ideologically anyway. Could they have been self proclaimed anarchists? Perhaps. Then again they may not have been.
Anyways all the Poirot's please feel free to accuse whoever you feel like accusing. Don't expect an apology from the Anarchist movement though. Our sadness for the event is not coupled by guilt. Your witch hunt is pointless.
