Alternatively we can continue fighting the presence of multinationals on our streets (Sainsbury's having been given the go ahead a few centimeters up the road) By getting involved with local alternatives - community meals, guerrilla gardening and local food.
A fruit and Veg stall - co-op has been set up in the Full Moon Bike Basket Market, running on sundays, this hopes to grow into a real alternative.
