Stop the EDL, stop the fascists! Mobilise now!

The English Defence League (EDL) is threatening to demonstrate in WEMBLEY on Saturday June 26th against a Peace Conference called by a Muslim charitable foundation and designed to build understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims! Brent and Harrow Unite Against Fascism is calling a counter demonstration, details to be confirmed. Please do everything you can to spread this information.

We will be calling a Brent and Harrow Unite Against Fascism organising meeting in the very near future to finalise details - watch this space.

The EDL has called off its June 20th East London demonstration. The Unity demonstration organised by United East End and Unite Against Fascism is going ahead. Assemble 12.30 pm in Stepney Green Park on Sunday June 20th to march to Altab Ali Park.

So the UAF/SWP is intending to still march even though the EDL won't be, and of course you had no plans to picket/protest the Fundamentalist Conference at the Roxy, which suggests you just want to sell more papers, recruit more members particulalry from the Bengali community and are hypocrites.

The EDL is just an invention of MI5/NuLabour which was created to scare people off voting for the BNP at the election.

Look at its "members" and you'll find military, ex-military, police, etc, who have all been co-opted and are paid to play the EDL game... If you go to the demos against them then you are falling into their trap so that the FIT teams can photograph you and put you on their "extremist" database.

Just ignore them - it's not real!!!

It is nothing of the sort. The UAF are either really naive and gullible or seriously manipulative liars.

The key speaker at Wembly is Zakir Naik ( google him) who is not only anti-gay, anti-womens rights, anti-semitic etc etc he is also deeply divisive within the Muslim world and has had Fatwas put on him by more mainstream Immans.

That the UAF fail to see the divisiveness in these movements and the similarity between the divisiveness of the EDL AND that the UAF lump ALL Muslims together really smacks of racism to me.

All of this "don't worry it's just MI5" crap isn't much help. Whoever or whatever the EDL are backed by, their rank and file are violent racists who attack people. MI5 torture people especially Muslims. Never mind whether or not Zionist Alan Lake is funded by MI5 to fund the EDL : THEY ARE VIOLENT and must be stopped.
