johno | 16.06.2010 15:55 | Liverpool
before this a march of three colleges and university groups is taking place on the 19th.
so rattles snakes drums noise and other racket inducing items should be there as well as throaty shouters.
the reason for the revolt is to coincide with national proposals of georgey boy osbournes crisis budget. obdr qrxl5 or something office.
a wide range of groups and trade unions are expected according to the leaflet, now circulating.
sadly however at the same time on the same day a march for jobs at the opposite end of the street near derby square as been called by the
youth for jobs campaign
these are going to clash no side is giving an each to the other before e real fight develops in liverpool a broad principled regroupment of forces is essential otherwise we will have fratricidal warfare and no effective opposition mounted to the threts to jobs and services
both groups campaigning on the same issues and are expecting the turnout
local unemployed groups and activists from everywhere campaigning to oppose the effect of these widesweeping cuts, will benefit from solidarity action against the labour council who will be implementing these decisions but blaming national government as usual.
a serious discussion on the need for unity to combat these and future cuts needs to be had urgently.
