Not all Muslims, many that I know hate Sharia Law, some volunteer for the Islamic Human Rights Commission or work with Amnesty International, who oppose stoning punishments.

Many Muslims are more than likely moderate people, especially those that dress in western clothes, millions of Muslims live in USA and Europe and are White people, I know a lot of Sufi Muslims in Luton who are mostly white.

Like many Christians and Jews there are far more Muslim people who are not fundamentalist, most going about their business keeping their beliefs to themselves, for after all religious beliefs are a private matter.

Those fundamentalists of any religion bring their faiths into disrepute - not the kind of behaviour their various prophets or leaders agree with.

There aren't any and condemnation for hate preachers, terror attacks and those clowns at Muslims Against Crusades is few and far between from the mainstream Muslim community which needs to change.

Wherever the BNP go they are opposed by white people outraged and disgusted by them. Wherever Choudary and other hate-preachers and racist Muslims go no Muslims go to oppose him.

They need to stand up and start opposing them like UAF and SWP do the BNP.

Above poster, sorry the UAF and SWP do not actively oppose anybody, they claim to but actually do very little. Opposing to me would be to beat the shit out of racists and physically stand up to them, not co-opting with the police at demo's to make it easy for the EDL/BNP to march unopposed.

There is strong resistance from within the Muslim community to extremists AND among anti facists, so top talking out of your arse - how many muslims do you know, how many have you spoken to about this, my guess is a big fat fuck all.

Yep, SWP/UAF, not much use. While there are some decent activiists among the UAF rank and file, and they have at least held the EDL demo's in check, to a point, the leadership are shite, like all hierarchical groups, the power of leadership has gone ot thier heads.

The UAF as it stands will not get rid of the EDL, the may hold their demo's in check as stated, but they won't end them. You're spot on there @narcho.
