FB-AUCPB statement

FOR BOLSHEVISM-AUCPB | 27.07.2010 09:49 | Terror War

Regarding another provocative military-political fuss and saber-rattling by the U.S. near the borders of the DPRK

From 25 June to 27 July, traditionally in the DPRK and a number of countries that support the independent and autonomous political and economic policy of the DPRK is conducted a Month of Solidarity in joint struggle against American imperialism. June 25, 1950 – was the beginning of the Fatherland Liberation War of the Korean people under the leadership of the great general Kim Il Sung against the U.S. armed forces and the armed forces of their satellites. July 27 – marks the victory of the Korean people in this terrible massacre against the armed with the latest military equipment U.S. aggressors who wanted to end the DPRK as a sovereign socialist state. That was the first time the Americans in its entire period of existence lost a military campaign in disgrace. It ended with the signing of a truce, and not a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S., because North Korea and South Korea, whose territory still has many thousands of U.S. troops, and technically the United States is actually still at war with the DPRK (North Korea). Korea, due to the Americans was divided along the 38 th parallel into two states. A NATION is divided and is eager for reunification. Numerous appeals by the leadership of DPRK to the leaders of the United States over the past 57 years to sign a peace agreement have been fully rejected. Perhaps the U.S. can never forgive itself for the shame of defeat from a small newly born socialist country in North-East Asia. Probably, the Americans still cherish the hope to gain revenge for the long-standing defeat, and every year with manic urgency several times a year near the borders of Korea, organize a demonstration of its military power, together with its loyal subjects "allies."
Here and now near the borders of North Korea is a demonstration of intimidation against the DPRK.
From July 25 in the Sea of Japan are being held for a period of 4 days, a joint large-scale military "exercise" by the U.S. and South Korea. The nuclear aircraft carrier George Washington and 20 other ships and submarines of the U.S. Navy, as well as 100 aircraft and 8,000 troops are taking part. The second stage of the "exercises" will be held in the Yellow Sea. Robert Gates (Secretary of Defense) called these exercises "an open letter for the DPRK, with the demand to renounce nuclear weapons." Such increased aggressiveness and arrogance by U.S. officials due to the use of false pretext against North Korea - the provocative sinking by the armed forces of the USA of the South Korean warship Cheonan, which the unprovenly falsely accused North Korea of doing.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the new sanctions by the U.S. and saber rattling are "primarily directed against the North Korean leadership and its assets." The U.S. "aims to isolate the leadership of the DPRK to apply pressure on it and force North Korea to stop the development of its nuclear energy".
The visit by Hillary Clinton, along with Robert Gates, to the border post in Panmundzhon and the viewing of North Korean positions in binoculars is clearly provocative.
The statements by Clinton and Gates that the new (stifling) sanctions against North Korea – “will not affect the population of North Korea, but that they are directed against the North Korean authorities," sound beyond naive and even foolish, and suggest a profound misunderstanding of the essence of socialist Korean society.
The weakening by the day "great power" America does not want to take into account the monolithic unity of the leaders and people of the DPRK which is stronger than any weapon that can not be separated from one another, and that every citizen of the DPRK is ready to give their life in defense of the Korean revolution and personally its Supreme Commander Comrade Kim Jong Il. So hysterical another show of force by the United States near the borders of the DPRK only shows the historical unconscious of Americans who shamefully lost the Korean War in 1950-1953. Apparently HISTORY has taught nothing to the ambitious dirty sack full of fake worthless green papers, soiled by blood and sweat of those who are robbed by the U.S. constantly and everywhere around the world. Americans are also afraid of the future inevitability of the unification of the Korean nation as a weakening of its bridgehead in Northeast Asia. And the rising giant in the third world - IRAN – is making the United States very worried. Not without reason during the international World Cup football hysteria, the Americans quietly pulled into the Mediterranean huge armed forces, but still not decided to start a military conflict. Therefore, with frenzied rage they attack the DPRK, struggling to set alight the wick of a fire of a world nuclear carnage on the Korean peninsula. The only thing stopping them is the possession by the DPRK of its own nuclear weapons as a powerful deterrent to any aggressor.
We, the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, sincerely wish our brotherly people of the DPRK success in all their tasks of socialist construction, as well as a swift solution on reunification of the Korean nation.
We firmly believe, dear Korean friends, in YOUR successes, in YOUR monolithic UNITY and a swift powerful rebuff to any aggressor.
Long live the heroic people of the DPRK, the people-worker, a nation-builder, the people-warrior!
Long live the glorious Armed Forces of the DPRK equipped with nuclear weapons!
Long live the military and political headquarters of the Korean revolution led by the Great Kim Jong Il!
Long live the growing struggle of the peoples of the world against imperialism!
Long live world peace!

rattled!

28.07.2010 09:40

Clearly bullshit watch is rattled judging by his or her ranting comment to the posting, however noone can escape the reality of the situation. If the corporate media publish lies and slander in relation to the DPRK then we as communists have a duty to get the truth across in all ways possible.

ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF SONGUN POLITICS UK
London 23rd of July 2010 Juche 99

The ASSPUK,JISGE and UK KFA today issued a joint statement condemning the visit of US war chieftains Clinton and Gates to Korea coinciding with the annoucement of new sanctions against the diginified DPRK and aggressive war exercises against the DPRK.

Clinton and Gates have no right to interfere in Korea and should have stayed at home.Clinton maliciously slandered the DPRK .In fact the DPRK has followed path of independence and self reliance to become a powerful socialist country that is independent, self supporting and self defending. The DPRK is entering an era of prosperity. It has abolished taxation and people enjoy free education, free medical care and other great benefits.
However south Korea is a wretched neo colony occupied by brutish US agggressor troops where national spirit is trampled down.South Korean people live in poverty and the rich get ever richer and the poor get ever poorer. It is the US imperialists who divided Korea and continue to do so.

We denouce strongly the war exercises and new sanctions against the DPRK .The US imperialist sanctions against the DPRK will be frustated owing to the socialist independent national economy of the DPRK and self reliance.
The war exercises are a wanton challenge to peace and an infringement of the DPRK sovereignity. They are aimed at threatening and intimidating the DPRK and stifling the Korean style socialist system centred upon the popular masses .These aggressive mad cap war exercises not only threaten the DPRK but threaten peace and sovereignity in the whole of Asia.
We demand the US imperialists and south Korean puppets stop these
war excercises at once.
HANDS OFF THE DPRK
US IMPERIALISTS OUT OF KOREA.

so much bullshit

28.07.2010 10:41

but not from bullshit watcher.

Could the defenders of the cult of personality that is the north korean government please explain why the principle of self sufficiency has failed so miserably? as the central tenet of kimilsungism is self sufficiency it can be taken that the project has failed and in fact never been a success as north korea has always and still does rely heavily on foreign aid, from the ussr, china and even the great satan itself.

perhaps if less money was wasted on military hardware, personal railway lines and prostitutes for the dear leader the people could be fed and watered

stalin

self sufficiency - or self reliance?

29.07.2010 08:29

Not sure what you mean by an actual policy of self sufficiency. I know about the policy of DPRK self reliance and defending its sovereignty and independence from US imperialism's drive to implement regime change and set up a puppet state like south korea, which is totally dependent upon the IMF and the US. The south Koreans actually pay the US the have US troops on their soil. Thats South Korean taxpayers money. The DPRK doesnt pay a penny to have foreign troops on its soil. It can defend itself. I think maybe you should be looking at south korea more closely as it is akin to a fascist regime with it draconian national security law which imprisons anyone who vaguely supports the North, is a communist or active in trade unions, for at least 7 years the maximum sentence being the death penalty.

In fact the DPRK has made remarkable gains in self-sufficiency. Whereas there may not be an abundance of luxury foods that the wealthy can consume in the West, the North Koreans are largely self-sufficient in necessary foodstuffs. Maybe if the US dropped their hostile policy towards the DPRK, removed their troops from south Korea including the 10000 nukes they have pointing at the north, signed a peace treaty, encourage further positve inter-Korean relations, then the DPRK could spend less on defence. And most people know that slapping sanctions (i.e. US sanctions on the DPRK) on a country does not help the situation either. The US has been talking of regime change and "a collapsing" DPRK for nearly 20 years. They have slapped more and more sanctions on the DPRK......but to no avail.....they havnt worked..the DPRK remains standing and getting stronger. I dont see that as a failure but a success.

LONG LIVE THE DPRK!
SMASH US IMPERIALISM!

strange idea of success

29.07.2010 12:52

You should read up on juche or kimilsungism, it lays out that north korea should be self sufficient / reliant, which includes the production of food. Sadly it is is not self sufficient but is reliant upon food aid.

You state that other than luxury items, which only the western imperialists would enjoy anyway, north korea is self sufficient in necessary food items. Would you therfore classify wheat and rice as a luxury food item? Both are imported as food aid, and guess where 500 000 tonnes of wheat came from in 2008 - the USA. So much for not depending upon western imperialists.

Poitning out that the south is propped up by the IMF etc is a fair point but then I am talking about the north, which is propped up by China and others - so it seems like a similar situation really, just different patrons.

And your assertion that the south is a fascist state is fairly ludicrous really given the way the north is controlled by a family of, to say the least, odd people. There is of course freedom of movemtn, freedom of speech, freedom of association written into the north korean constitution? A personality cult that calls itself a communist is simply a dictatorship, plain and simple. It is ruled for the self interest of the elite with no thought or care for ordinary people that are made to suffer in order that the great leader may be honoured, deified and praised.

I am not supporting the south, I am not supporting the USA - they are different discussions.

I am saying that your delusional defence of the frankly disgusting north korean regime is obscene. I assume you are probably the type that would have suppored stalin, mao, pot etc with the rather sad excuse that the end justifies the means and that anything possible must be done to keep the red flag flying proud.

It is time of the stalinists to wake up, the people of north korea deserve better than to be ruled over by an obscene personality cult / dictator.

Down with dictators wherever they may be.

foolish

30.07.2010 06:26

Bullshit Watch is so full it it that he or she cant even spell nationalism properly and also "wasners" whats that meant to mean ?looks like they have taken something too strong

As to "Stalin" don t they know that the DPRK has been subject to one of the longest US blockades
in history for 61 years.

Idiot Watch

So how do you think you are kidding-response to "Stalin"

30.07.2010 06:41

You say you dont support SK or the USA but the situation on the Korean peninsula is such that you
either support one side or the other. You can either support imperialism or anti imperialism, you
cant hunt with the hounds and run with the fox.Your attitude smacks of typical British fake "Left" hypocrisy which basically supports imperialism and then when challenged it is "oh no we dont
a plague on both your houses" etc.

Members of our organisation visting the DPRK in 2008 and 2009 witnessed bumper harvests in
the countryside. There was no sign of starvation at all and plenty of people moving about on
country roads.More freight was moving on the railways and plenty of construction work was
going. This has been detailed on the Internet.

The DPRK became self sufficient in grain in 1961 but suffered disasters in the late 1990s.Even
then its rate of self sufficiency in food was much higher than south Korea or Japan.John Pilger
in one of his books said SK was having to import up to 90% of its grain.

The DPRK has always stressed that their own efforts are primary and any internationalists help is
secondary. The DPRK learnt not rely on others throught the anti Japanese armed struggle and
later. The DPRK leadership drew a lesson from the Cuban missile crisis when the USSR betryed
Cuba which showed that small countries cannot rely on big countries. As "Stalin" thinks he is
so clever and knows so much about Korea he must know that relations with the USSR were
after 1960 were not close and came close to an open split at times. The USSR actually cut
off any assitance in the early 60s.The DPRK faced not only hostility from US imperialism but
also pressure from big power chauvinists and even at times sanctions from them.

Juche

it isnt that difficult really

30.07.2010 09:52

In the first place and as so often pointed out in numerous threads across Indymedia it is possible to be against many things, it is not an either or situation. I dont like US foreign policy and i dont like north koreas dictatorship. Not a difficult concept to grasp really.

So these bumper harvests that you saw, I assume you were shown them by your escorts during your visit? If they were as you describe bumper then perhaps you can explain to me why north korea needed to import over 500 000 tonnes of wheat and other food aid in the very years that you witnessed the bumper harvests? And I would also be interested to know why, given the often stated hatred of the US, the north korean dictatorship is happy to recieve that food aid from the US?

South korea might well import grain and other food, so does the UK and pretty much every other country in the world. That is not the point i am making here, i am not talking about other countries. The point i am making is that your glorious communist dictatorship is in fact a basket case and that the people living there, not your friends in the north korean social elite, are having a very hard time of it becasue of this perverse personality cult that you defend in the name of communism.

stalin

@ stalin

31.07.2010 08:25

Yes you can be for and against as many things as you want..North Korea/ South Korea or whatever.. but really that is not so important, the important thing is how, in this case, i.e the US and the west see and utilise this. To them, anyone who doesnt like or support the DPRK and openly slanders it, means support directly or indirectly of US,anti-DPRK policy, whether you be peacenik, anarchist, middle class hippy or whatever ideology, and or whether or not you wish to see yourself as against US policy etc. The main thing is that you are against the DPRK....thats enough for the enemies of the DPRK for whatever reason. And given the hard choice between the North and the South, I am pretty sure you would lend your support to the south. The fact is, you get most of your info on the DPRK via western media, so you really know very little about the reality in the DPRK.

Jon

People who sit in the middle of the road are likely to get run over

31.07.2010 23:07

You keep chanting the Mantra ' I dont support either side,I dont support south Korea or the US'.Yet
we have yet to see anything from you condemning the US army in south Korea, calling for its
unconditional withdrawal, anything condeming the south Korean "National Security Law " and
certainly nothing condemning recent arrests of south Korean progressives and democrats. You
claim you dont support any side but continually attack the DPRK so by de facto you support the
US and south Korea. You claim dont support SK but all the time repeat SK propaganda(
"starvation" etc). Its like saying "I dont support the BNP but oh yeah there is genocide against
indigenous people'.Your line represents this kind of double think.

By the way as you are such a Korea expert you should know the staple food of Korean people is
not wheat but rice. The DPRK has only 20% of its area used for agriculture due to the fact that it
is mountainous and the main crops grown are rice and maize, also potatoes.

I would refer to these eye witness accounts
 http://www.uk-songun.com/index.php?p=1_14_VISIT-TO-THE-LAND-OF-SONGUN
 http://juche007-anglo-peopleskoreafriendship.blogspot.com/2008/10/visit-to-land-of-songun.html
 http://www.kcckp.net/en/periodic/todaykorea/index.php?contents+5138+2010-01+135+24

The DPRK is independent it was able to carry out 2 nuclear tests despite the opposition of
China and Russia to say nothing of the US imperialists and other imperialist countries. In the
past the USSR and Peoples Republic of China were at loggerheads and denounced each other
but the DPRK maintained relations with both. The Juche idea was developed in defiance of
outside big powers particularly the USSR.
