Finish what Guy Fawkes started!

Tom Swizz | 04.08.2010 23:30 | Repression | Social Struggles

OK guys, remember the 5th of November? Of course you do! Well, lets do it all over again, and this time lets get it right! There will be a storming of Parliament on the 5th November starting at 12 noon... well, maybe more than just storming if we get it right!

Here is the event page on Facebook -  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=149093535102122

I am extremely disgruntled (thats being kind) with the way this country is going. Wars, bankers, government, capitalism, tax increases, NHS cuts... you name it. So, if you are angry or upset, even if you disagree the teeniest weeniest bit at the way any of the above mentioned problems are being handled, then I suggest that you make your way to Parliament by any means possible this November 5th to voice your anger. We are going to take back Parliament from the cheats and liars, and use it for the purpose it is now meant for - for the people to run THEIR country the way THEY want to.
See you on November 5th!

Tom Swizz

Protest but remember

05.08.2010 08:07

We should protest the betrayal of the public by most of our MPs. Where were they when the banks were being reckless with money we are now forced to pay back? Why haven't they protested about the destruction of the UK's industrial sector? We've only got oil, gas and funny City of London money to create wealth. We have become a colony of the City of London (which is a separate state). Was the Thatcherite clamp down on the unions in the 1980s one means of destroying the industrial sector. The result of the clamp down was not more economically vigorous industries.

But we should also remember that the attempt to blow up Parliament was not what it seems. It was, in fact, a false flag terror event as Webster Tarpley,  http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=30604163872&topic=6121,  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQUetYywrKQ

The plotters hired a house near Parliament to dig their way underneath the building. They gave up on that idea. But the house was hired by someone called Carlton. The same man because the government's foreign secretary after the plot. Also, the government had control over all gunpowder. The plotters could not get any without government permission.

lol, even Guy Fawkes was a conspiracy theory now!

05.08.2010 08:41

Are there no depths conspiracy theorists won't plumb?

Even institutions like Guy Fawkes are relegated to "false flag" events by conspiracy theorists now! I wonder what other ancient historical events can be ascribed to conspiracies too?

Are there *any* attacks on the system that have ever taken place that weren't actually false flag conspiracies? Maybe all the riots I've been on were actually me responding to a chip implanted in my brain rather than my own free will?

actually parliament could take itself back!

05.08.2010 09:11

back in the days of the expenses scandal, i suggested the commons could table a motion declaring itself to be the supreme power in the land, not just a rubber stamp for the estblishment which its been since the so called bill of rights of 1689.
this interim move would close down the lords, (and would politiely ask the monarch to abdicate which italy managed in about 1947 i think).
all MPs would be subject to legal imminutiy UNLESS impeached for a misdeed whereupon they would lose such protection and be placed with the courts.
having some real power would focus their minds a bit!

Misunderstanding the problem, Tom

05.08.2010 12:55

"We are going to take back Parliament from the cheats and liars, and use it for the purpose it is now meant for - for the people to run THEIR country the way THEY want to."

But they apparently don't WANT to ("the people"). That's the problem. Yes, far from perfect, but British democracy isn't that non-existent that IF the people overwhelmingly wanted different leadership they wouldn't get it. Similarly with doing away with the House of Lords and the Monarchy.

Stop looking for external causes and look within. The failure is within us not being able to convince "the people" to want what we think they should want. How could we do better? What do we have to change (among ourselves) in order that we could do better?

Marxism Takes Over the Means of Production and Auxilaries, Doesn't Blow It Up.

05.08.2010 15:51

The working class is the constant majority and core to each and every nation. They literally cradle all civilizations. The fact that in Britain the democracy of the nation has become the exclusive property of the bourgeoisie, allied with the feudal and enslavers-- the private profits for private law making shows that the present rulers are in fact making the laws for their own narrow interests instead of the whole nation. Bourgeois democracy actually limits democracy and leaves out the majority of the people from decision making.

That is the elites way of excluding the working class from making the laws for the good of us all in all productive sectors of the economy, and that includes agriculture, and Industry as well as the small or petite shop sectors. Very few running everything leads to dictatorial practices, instead of mass everyday involvement for the good of all. It creates a feeling of hopelessness amongst the people, and disappointment that nothing can be done about anything important for the new society to emerge.

What needs to be changed is to set the goal of a workers state, and that means a new definition of the motivation of society such that it must not aggressively war, and that includes not polluting the environment for monied profits any longer. That of necessity means RE-TOOLING THE ENTIRE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, to wind, tidal, and solar power which transforms to electricity and is more power than can be used by society.

Solar panels on every roof in the whole world. That provides the masses with work forever and is non-pollution. That also allows the end of fossil fuel pollution, which in turn allows the green ecological revolution to replentish the oxygen supply to the atmosphere. It is now depleted by 36% from pre-industrial revolution times, and is diminishing faster than the green organic revolution can replace it while taking out the carbon for cell building. This means that the oxygen will soon burn out completely if the present society continues. We cannot live on the CO2 or Carbon Dioxide which the Industries throw out, and the green trees cannot filter fast enough anymore because of clear cutting and etc.

The renewal of democracy must be based on the workers becoming concious of the new needs, and taking the bold step for the good of us all. Being the majority and left out of the decision and law making is what creates dictotorship and fascism. Whereas the correct response is to empower the workers to take control of the means of production and make it work, as only they know how to not pollute or war aggressively against the independant nations again. That is what really makes a policy of progressive nationalism and the restoration of the matriarchy becomes a possibility, and that way which ensures that the harmony and joy, which is the natural condition of our man, woman specie returns.

We are at the jucture. We must end the destruction of the planets livability caused by burning coal, gas, oil, and the poisoning of atomic energy. Viva socialist liberation. End pollution wars, not endless wars for more pollution.,

Spreading ignorance

05.08.2010 18:57

@anon,

You don't have to be a 'conspiracy theorist' to believe that the 'anarchist, black bloc' violence at the G20 protests at Seattle or Toronto were the work of the police.

Just because you're ignorant, anon, that doesn't mean that everyone else should be.

don't just spout crap, find someone who can make a flyer and someone else with a big mouth and get organising.

last year on november 5th, there was a hillarious punk/anarcho firework party on parliment square, amazing, the police did nothing despite a load of them getting chucked at them, and some bloke with a mohawk was firing rockets out of his ass!
