10/18/2007 was the last day of the Portland nuclear exercises. It started ominously, with an alarmed Presswatch host, Theresa Mitchell, doing a broadcast from Portland's KBOO-FM Pacifica station. She announced that a Dow Chemical pipeline in the Houston area had exploded -- several hours after Ghost Troop had issued a national red alert that correctly anticipated the event. Each negative article is a treasure, more valuable with time. One of which I'm particularly fond was written by "Dream's End" on 3/23/2008, the third anniversary of the 3/23/2005 BP refinery explosion in Texas City, which killed 15.
