Jordan Valley Solidarity | 30.05.2011 19:30 | Anti-militarism | Palestine | South Coast | World
This morning JVS volunteers and Palerstinian drivers had to wait over half and hour at Tayseeya checkpoint for the army to allow people to pass.At Hamra check point a JVS volunteer witnessed 6 Israeli army Jeeps and 3 buldozers on military vehicles driving through the check point on the road in the direction of tubas.
The army uses the Jordan Valley as its training area, and Palestinians are regularlry held for long periods of time at the check points however today the JVS volunteers have witnessed an unusally high level of military activity by the Israeli colonialist army.
