The European Gendarmerie Force (EGF) is an initiative of 5 EU Member States - France, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain – aimed at improving the crisis management capability in sensitive areas. Since Wednesday, 17th December 2008, the High Level Interdepartmental Committee Meeting (CIMIN) decided to welcome the Romanian Gendarmerie to become a full member of the EGF. Therefore the EGF consists from that moment of 6 member states.
EGF responds to the need to rapidly conduct all the spectrum of civil security actions, either on its own or in parallel with the military intervention, by providing a multinational and effective tool.
The EGF will facilitate the handling of crisis that require management by police forces, usually in a critical situation, also taking advantage from the experience already gained in the relevant peace-keeping missions.
Based in Vicenza in the "Generale Chinotto" barracks, the EGF HQ is now developing a comprehensive and coherent operational system, which will permit to be ready in case of prompt deployment to crisis areas.
EGF goal is to provide the International Community with a valid and operational instrument for crisis management, first and foremost at disposal of EU, but also of other International Organizations, as NATO, UN and OSCE, and ad hoc coalitions.

So we have Communists fighting Anarchists, Trade Unionists working with bosses, the Greek Civil Servants union recommending pay cuts and bullshit stories about foreign police.

I can't imagine why the Greek resistance is failing

When the monopoly capitalist ruling classes feel threatened by the working people it is their habit to use aggressive war against the majority of people. Their monopoly capitalist system is being challenged in Greece, and as monopoly capitalism is an international system, they will use any and all forms of unjust war, and illegal violence to suppress the masses who resist and revolt against their system. Hence IMC report that four hundred abrams tanks are being sent to Greece. Or hence the Nato aggression in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, and other countries around the world. They are lawless when it comes to their Private profits from monopoly are threatened. For instance in the Paris Commune 1871 they took 36,000 surrendered unarmed worker soldier outside and shot them to death against a Wall in Paris. The bullet holes are still there for those who want to see them. Also after the surrender of the Spanish Democracy to Franco's Fascist Flange, 50,000 democratic Catholic Priests were taken out to public squares and shot to death while the people were forced to watch, then they took 256,000 thousand surrendered democratic Spanish soldiers out side and shot them to death. This proves the Bourgeoisie will stop at nothing to kill off the working classes if they revolt against the rule of the monopoly capitalist class. That also explains their reliance on such organizations as interpol etc. If they are sending mercenary cops, and four hundred tanks to Greece then they look like their going to resort to a fascist massacre much as they used Nato to murder and wound hundreds of thousand of innocent civilians in Libya. Drop illusions prepare for struggle. and don't forget they only use their Democracy to further the Profits of the Capitalist rulers, but have the habit of quitting democracy when they feel threatened by the revolts of the masses. I think the problem is in Greece mate - not the world

Most people in the UK seem to be just getting on with live and actually apart from the usual griping about weather and prices of stuff, seem pretty happy

So take your revolt and shove it up you ass because you will just make a shit mess of everything and we'll end up worse than Greece if you are put in charge (which would never happen)
