I was at Occupy London Tuesday night, in the cold wet surrounds of St. Paul's Cathedral, in need of a morale booster when I beheld an apparition of one of my all time heroes! The Rev was speaking into a mobile phone and pacing up and down, so I followed him. As soon as he hung up, I shook his hand and said "Love your work!"

We had a good chat. He has an insightful analysis of the Occupy movement and is very upbeat. Played by artist Bill Talen who does not identify as a Christian, he is all the same packing some powerful theology.

It's always weird meeting someone like that in 3 D, who've you've only seen on the tube, when you don't expect to meet them. It reminded me of being collared by Gerry Adams while on a march in Dublin. Kind of like meeting Santa Claus but different.
