Global Democracy: discuss.

Seb H | 10.11.2011 22:36 | Culture | Globalisation | Workers' Movements

A form of Libertarian Socialism that I find might uphold principles of the current movement to occupy and eventually reform the world into a new order which aims to support the working classes, whilst ultimately creating luxury and travelling opportunities for all, whilst involved in ensuring that the individual has all the right to build something out of life, although this would involve much more social interaction.

Worker unions and Trade federations --- Sebastian H.

Technocracy / Libertarian Socialism.

Private ownership as guaranteed by society and judged via society. the police force is minimal and reactive.

Private ownership is everything that you protect within a closed environment. In other words, everyone is guaranteed a free private house with space for a family. Self-protection in the new world, however, may have more significance, though it will be mandatory for the new authorities to train the public in such matters. Hence a healthier, hopefully more peaceful society may develop.

Vehicles and other accessories are not provided, although they may be produced, exchanged and sold on market providing they pass the standards of the authorities.

There is to be much higher emphasis in free public houses, communities, homeless shelters, activity centres, sports fields, art and music.

The police force might be used via judgement via society (via vote?) to protect the interests of the individual.

=THE SEVEN BASIC FREE RIGHTS OF HUMANITY

It is an option to select the required police force via public vote.

In turn society may benefit due to the constructions of not entrepreneur attitude but the requirements of society.

The growth of society is based on the council of the wise (c. 150,000 individuals to represent all regions and cultures of the earth, with a central h.q., which must be open to the public).

They must prove their worth through election once they have reached the retirement age of 50.

There are 4 levels of leadership: local, national, continental, global.

Elections occur at every level amongst members of the federation in question.

The council is split between 7 blocs to represent all continents of the earth and further split to represent all the nations and further split to represent all the councils.

The system of Trade federations (COUNCILS) of not more than 15 is to exist at the local level to represent all the people (workers).

Elections are run via the right of vote to workers to elect the DEPARTMENT HEADS (past the age of 50).

The DEPARTMENT HEADS manage the workers within their federation and ensure that all interests are met.

WORKERS become DEPARTMENT HEADS in the case that they have reached the age of 50 and worked as a member of a chosen federation for more than 20 years.

The global council (1) will ensure that all continents and nations are connected via trade, economy and communication.

The continental councils (7) will ensure that there is trade, communication and THE SEVEN BASIC RIGHTS OF HUMANITY for all people.

The national councils (c. 200) will ensure that there are clothes, healthcare and education.

The local councils (not sure) will ensure that there is peace, food and water, housing.

Factories, farms and enterprise (FFE) will be managed via the federations responsible for their construction and use at all levels.

FFE will be the product of individual and group efforts of supporting development within the given council position. They may make use of all the tools at their disposal.

E.g. a local council individual/group wants to earn extra income via supporting an area of opportunity for growth (e.g. accessories).

E.g. a national council individual/group finds interest in growing materials for clothes thus supporting local farms via currency.

Currency is the value of the currency being traded within a given region based on the circulation of that currency and its involvement with commodities through pricing mechanisms.

Currency may be used to purchase luxury goods created via hobbyists of enterprise at all levels, although they will be attached to the given federation and taxed at 50%. Only other tax=Pollution tax, based on amount of pollution produced in g and per amount of workers within the enterprise. A local committee grouped to Council management debates tax, using referendums to gauge public interest.

Gold will be the major currency of global council.

Silver will be the major currency of continental and national levels.

Bronze will the the major currency of the local level.

(1 g gold = 100 g silver)

(1 g silver = 100 g bronze)

(in my opinion)

Work to be available at all times within every federation. The federation must be of such standard that it can provide work and/or training to all who search (e.g. agriculture, construction and application, bioenergy research).

Training and education will be conducted via universities of applied science and primary/secondary schools with the main purpose of supporting children in their individual paths of discovery (e.g. meditation, yoga, martial arts, history, geography, mathematics, languages, sciences and cultivation).

The provided house as guaranteed via THE SEVEN BASIC RIGHTS OF HUMANITY must be of floor space 50m2 or more with all essentials installed and free of charge.

Food and water must be rationed to fit the needs of the population. Workers receive higher rations than non-workers.

Free 'basic clothing', healthcare, transport and education are guaranteed.
