I dreamed that corruption had practically finished in Brazil. Political campaigns could no longer be financed by private interests, and then, old "it is in giving that we receive" had been very restricted.

The vote was no longer mandatory, and then the illusion of legitimacy pulled from the ballot box by the force of money, publicity and public machine was over.

All those who could decide or sign anything, at the three powers and at the three levels of government, had their private banking and financial transactions published on public Web sites specialized in the subject.

Much still I dreamed: public power informed population by tv, regarding any intended decision that impacted budget elaboration or implementation and collected its manifestations about it, through Internet and other telematics instruments.

But the best part of the dream was that the President commanded down the interest on the public debt to zero, and with it this year alone, remained over two hundred and fifty billion to invest in development, infrastructure, health, education, security and everything else even paying more than five hundred billion of other charges of the same debt.

Speaking of safety, we all imitated the experience of police occupation in Rio slums, but what is equally important, we were fighting the origins of violence, which are poverty and violence in the homes, be they hovels or palaces.

Sure ... in the dream were solved all the problems of traffic and transport, with strict laws and modern, economical and comfortable equipment.

Ah ... There were medical experts readily available to the population, all across the public health network.

Controlled the robbery and interest taken to zero, there was money even for an agro-industrial policy focused on developing resources and not on squandering them, capable of generating more and more skilled jobs.

Finally, before I wake, I dreamed that everyone had the right to quick response in case of insult or slander perpetrated by means of mass communication (there is a bill by Senator Requião, in this sense) and the law prevented the press to convey opinions as if they were news.

It was a dream, of course, but if you dream it with me, it will start to happen ... Let’s go! Come on!
