Breaking News Cannabis Science, Inc: Cannabis Shrinks “One Of The Worst” Cancers

COLORADO’S pioneering biotech company Cannabis Science, Inc have released graphic photos of a patient, suffering with what their physician described as “the worst case of squamous cell carcinoma cancer” he had ever seen, being healed by cannabis oil administered at home.

The first pictures released by Cannabis Science, Inc. show a tumour protruding the skull with two sinus-like holes in the top. Cannabis extract was then applied in and around the holes and to all of the surrounding tissue on the scalp whilst the patient was undergoing radiotherapy treatment which can be seen in the second photos. This kind of extract which contains cannabinoids such as THC and CBD is more commonly referred to as “hash oil” or “concentrate” in the fledging regulated cannabis industry in Colorado, most particularly, Denver. Colorado made it legal for patients with qualifying conditions, after citizens used ballot initiatives and petitions, to use Cannabis to treat their symptoms. MS, chronic pain and nausea are all qualifying conditions, not just life threatening ones.

Claims of cannabis’ ability to shrink tumours have been made for many years, but within the last decade the anecdotal evidence has stacked up to the point that pharmaceutical companies have started taking these claims more seriously. GW Pharmaceuticals, who are set to go global in 2012 with their cannabis tincture spray Sativex, are currently Phase III trialling their oromucosal mouth spray for cancer pain in both the UK and the US. It is already prescribed to a select number of MS suffers in parts of the UK and in continental Europe in countries such as Italy, Germany, Sweden and even Czech Republic this year.

In the United Kingdom Her Majesty’s Government insist on the truth of their statement “cannabis has no medicinal benefits”, and occasionally add “in herbal form” to account for the fact that they allow GW Pharmaceuticals to grow 300 tonnes of the plant a year for… medical purposes. But that’s OK, they are licensed to extract oil from it to make Sativex, which is due to embark on a new cancer pain market worth £millions this year. Because the product Sativex contains CBD, or cannabidiol, which can moderate the effects of THC’s euphoric or ‘high’ effect, but also prolong it as it slows down its break down in the body, meaning it can be used more effectively over a longer period of time. This is what we call an FAAH inhibitor. (Just a little bit of cannabis science for you!)

Cannabis Science Inc. claim this is potentially an $80bn cancer treatment industry....surprise surprise!

Sativa Cannabis Can Save the Worlds' Forests.

One acre of Canabis Sative Hemp equals four acres of Canada's West Coast Rainforest. The fact is the pulp mills could use 1) pulp hemp not trees--much higher quality paper
2) put in electric boilers---ending the burn-out to CO2
3) end chemical poisons in the entire industry

That would stop pollution throughout the industry, at least most of it, and allow the green ecological green revolution to take out the carbon, and put back clean oxygen into our atmosphere again. That is the magic of Canabis Sativa Hemp.

There is no other plant that can save the worlds' forests. Is that not proof positive of its magic. It can be grown annually, and gives the peasant-farmer-worker alliance a garanteed annual income. More than that it is can replace all Oil derived products on the market, which causes pollution to the air, land, and water.

Canabis Sativa can be grown organically, and therefore does not pollute the environment, and it is an annual plant. The West Coast Rainforest takes hundreds of years to grow, and the pulp from forests is not of best quality compared with Hemp.

Wood paper last 100 years while Hemp lasts for a thousand years. More than that it can make tens of thousands of products, even cellulose, TNT, Car bodies stronger than steel, clothes, Cooking oil, rope, sacks, sails and etc. etc. It has medical qualities that have been known for tens of thousands of years by the peoples of the world.

It originates from Afghanistan and has spread around the world by medicine women and men. It is a healing medicine. John D. and the Oil monopoly decided to steal the market that hemp farmers had, and therefore during the 20's of last century they set to demonizing Marijuanna and the market it had globally.

They forced laws against its growing while showing it being smoked which is not the way the actual plant is fully used. The criminalizing of the plant is itself the real crime, because it defeats the organic method of agriculture, and jails the people for using the liberation way forward as the Canabis Sativa Hemp plant really is.

Just another way that the agri-buiz methods destroy the organic methods while exploiting the plants, animals, peoples, air, land, and water for pollution oil. Re-tool to wind, tidal, and solar power, which transforms to electricity, and double democracy by electing woman equally.

It is not unheard of for patients with very serious, tumors - even tumors that are deemed on the edge of being untreatable to go into remission, so why the massive leap in conclusion here that it was Cannabis that cured him? Heck even Cannabis Science where this news story broke are not going that far, and I quote: "apparently successful, self-medicated cannabis treatment for a cancer patient." - note the word "apparently".

As a Skeptic I am not against the idea that cannabis could cure, or help to cure cancer, but if against the odds there are cases of cancer going into remission, and the increase of people trying other therapies alongside their treatment, could this not be coincidence? The chap after all, was receiving conventional treatment.

What is required here is more than anecdotal evidence such as this, but actual scientific studies. Faith healers for years have made the bogus claim that they have cured people, often to the detriment of the person 'healed' (some have later died through stopping medication, or not following medical advice). A clear case if any of the danger of relying on anecdotal evidence.

Where is the peer- reviewed science?

Thats right but as in so much of life in general, sweeping statements are no good.

What this linked article talks about specifically is does eating pork and processed meats cause Cancer?

There isn't a lot of 'science' around that proves one way or the other if 'meat' is the problem, it specifically mentions pork and processed meat.

But if you look at the different faiths around the world there is a definite tendency to shy away from pig meat.

Now I don't care too much about the faiths and the churches, what gets you through life is what gets you through life, I also beleive in God. So if the collective memory of humanity built over thousands of years by whatever unifying force says that eating pig meat is a problem...then thats someting I want to know about. At some point in history, large numbers of people stopped eating meat from a pig. So much so that the archeological record uses this as a method in determining the appearance of the major faiths.

If you want to know when Islam and Judaism appeared, you need only look into the ground to find pre-Islamic settlements dropped a lot of pigs teeth into the ground after eating pigs, and then suddenly Islam appeared and pig teeth disappear for good as people stopped eating them.

Something must have happened. Did people stop eating pig meat due to the sudden appearance of Cancer?
