new attacks by the Informal Anarchist Federation

FSU | 21.02.2012 16:57 | August Riots | Terror War

two new actions claimed by UK and Russia cells of FAI
re-posted from 325.nostate.net

2 cell phone towers torched south of Moscow (Rostov-na-Donu direction). The cottage settlement we chose to disable is a popular site among hunters. And not only that. Local residents decided to add to the abuse of wild life and started two commercial fishing resorts. They breed fish to be hunted by tourists.

So in a festive winter spirit (New Year/Xmas and St. Valentine’s Day) we decided to send them a message of love and harmony: 1 tower was left completely burned out, another one – severely damaged.

We used incendiaries with 1.5 liters of gasoline/kerosine each.

Words of solidarity and support to Marco Camenish, members of Indonesian FAI (both in prison and on the run), and Silvia, Costa and Billy.

Our respect and wholehearted support of actions carried out by ITS (Individuals Tending towards the Wild), as well as other animal/ earth liberation collectives

Long live ALF/ELF!
Long live FAI!

With love,

“The spirit of insurrectionalism is still in the air like a light of hope – in this
dim atmosphere of cages of repression.” - Eat & Billy (Indonesian FAI)

We hate rich cunts in BMWs, in fact they piss us off so much that to show our hate of them and all their like we set a BMW on fire and another SUV nearby, on Kimberly avenue Cambridge in the early hours of Feb 19. Right in front of the houses of these fuckheads who obviously have signed up willingly on the side of this massive prison industrial civilization, for the destruction of our mother earth and against everything we love. Just another small gesture of our war on their world. We were filled with love burning as hot as our hate – our thoughts with REYHARD RUMBAYAN (‘Eat’) and BILLY AUGUSTAN on trial a few days ago in Indonesia for burning a BRI Bank in Yogyakarta back in Oct. 7 2011, for which they take proud responsibility as members of the Long-Live Luciano Tortuga Cell – Indonesian FAI (Informal Anarchist Federation). Their torture and the long imprisonment the bastards of the Indonesian State have planned for them under ‘anti-terrorist’ laws are just another reason we’ll remain stubborn in our attack all over the world – the insurrectionary anarchists of the black international – with arson, bombs, sabotage and bullets.

We also send our love to subversive comrades JUAN ALISTE, FREDDY FUENTEVILLA, and MARCELLO VILLARROEL banged up in Chile accused of three bank robberies and killing a cop in October 2007, mindful of the international call for days of solidarity between Feb19 and Feb29 and these comrades hunger strike for which they’ve been isolated in maximum security isolation cells – declaring “our protest contemplates no demand of the intraprison appeal type. More accurately, it is a gesture — an act of attacking anticapitalist Resistance uniting us with each and every Subversive Autonomous Anarchist Revolutionary prisoner who, from different places and different death/isolation camps, keeps alive the revolt in pursuit of Social Revolution and the disappearance of class society”. Strength to the dignified revolutionaries Freddy, Juan and Marcello who daily give us so much strength! And flaming solidarity to all our comrades all over the world taking the difficult path of revolt against all odds. Turns out we don’t have to look too far to see others who warm our hearts with their irreducible rebelliousness against this grey prison world of cars and roads and shopping centres and metal fences and identical housing estates and schools/workplaces/jails. the local press speculated that the Nov 22 2011 arson of cars at a Histon Vauxhall garage was by the Fire Cell / FAI. That’s not the case and we send our warm greeting to these anonymous arsonists – keep burning until all the cities turn to ashes to fertilise an unimaginable feral future!!! Likewise we welcome the arson attack that partially damaged the Santander bank in the center of Cambridge on Feb 1 2012 and regret the arrest of a young man afterwards, ALL OUR SOLIDARITY TO THE ANTI-SYSTEM FIRESTARTERS And of course to those arrested after the riot in Cambridge in the uprizing of August in which some cops got mashed down and everyone else who felt the flame of life burn brighter – we’ll have our time again, as long as we’re rioters, the riots not dead – NOTHING IS OVER EVERYTHING CONTINUES.

Of course, there’s no need to wait to start destroying, just like we don’t stop looting off the capitalist system just because there’s not a riot – you just need to be a bit more sneaky! Everyone can form a cell of the leaderless resistance and carry out actions (taking the common sense security measures, being lo-tech), and can choose to communicate thru action claims like this one, sharing methods and ideas and anonymously coordinating strikes on the enemy, across all borders, just like our comrades in Bristol, Nottingham, London and all over the world!!

+ FAI actions in Argentina, Chile and Greece

It is not surprising that they torture prisoners in the prisons, nor is it surprising that they spread the idea that an “impact” on the Earth is necessary in order to keep living connected to a cellphone, and since “the people” use those apparatuses, they must be in favor of the mineral exploitation that–as they “inform” us–does not contaminate but rather produces a necessary “impact” on the Earth in order to benefit society.

For reasons such as these, we despise the relationships that solidify the status quo, even those on a smaller scale that enclose a person in a house and the so-called family, and that occasionally widens to celebrate Carnaval (for example) in a hypocritical tradition requiring the naive illusion that the streets are “the people’s,” and when there aren’t excuses to go into the streets en masse, it is said that the same streets have no owner, that they belong to no one and they demand security on the part of the police.

What are they celebrating?

In the face of the misery of knowing that they are more controlled than they can perceive, they say it all backwards. Who has control of the streets? The police. And where something escapes them, along comes another wannabe cop who wants to occupy the role illegally. It is the same police attitude. This is how “the people” cling to their commodity misery to secure that they have something to struggle for, because not a single idea of theirs falls outside of the ordinary.

At 1 am on Saturday Feb 4 we attacked with an incendiary device a patrol car of the Federal Argentina Police in front of the 23rd Precinct.

This action makes it known that the police will be attacked by the lovers of freedom, whether with fire, bullets or an explosive charge.

Justifications for one’s actions can only convince those who have domesticated minds, therefore our call is to continue with the direct attack against authority on the part of those who retain some dignity in their bowels.

Friends of the Earth / Informal Anarchist Federation.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In the early hours of Monday January 30th, full of rage and rebellion against authority, against the oppressive classes manifested in the State and business, we turned toward the Maritano Ebensperger auto dealership located on Av. O’Higgins (Chillán), understanding these wreteched businesses as symbols of social inequality and of global environmental destruction, and there, with the memory of fallen comrades in our memory, with the fire of freedom and anarchy, we attacked what they most hate to lose: their commodities.

May each molotov cocktail thrown be only a threat of what this social war will bring to each structure that carries out the will of authority, or in other words, of exploitation and oppression. May each leaflet thrown after we were filled with the joy of seeing part of that disgusting business burning, be the message that each of the powerful and the guardians in their service will have to fear in every moment.

Without encouraging the idolatry of anyone, nor much less deification, we want this action to join the long list of vindictive remembrances of the comrade Mauricio Morales, the brother punky Mauri, who simply calls the attention of those who have not yet chosen the way of insurgency and of the streets. Go out, the war is in the street, mask up, burn them and spread revolt!!!

Immediate freedom to all the hostages in the prisons… an embrace across the distance full of savagery, solidarity and insubordination to the brother Tortuga, you are present in every action!!

And to the pigs and rats who should now be reading this, we say to you with irony and mockery: search… search… because we are everywhere and at the same time nowhere; we are your black nightmare and the fire will soon arrive at you!!

SPREAD REVOLT!!

VIVA LA ANARQUÍA!!

“Therefor, fellow members of the Anarchist International, our opponent is everywhere, and we need not consider how seemingly insignificant our efforts are. As long as the chaos, mystery, and ferocity of our actions pierce directly into the heart of capitalist normality, we may consider all tactics legitimate and worthy of repetition. Authority is everywhere and thus so are we, constantly struggling to undermine it. We need only lift our heads to see a manifestation of the reigning order.”
(extract from the text ‘three unifying tactics of the anarchist
international’)

In a time where capitalism and the modern policy of representatives, urban democracy transforms rapidly and they try to impose their new structures of dominance with all means available (police, technological etc.), it is logical that the hostages of war who are locked in the cells of the state consist a basic object of repression and total extermination (physical, political, moral, psychological). It is the message of resignation and futility which the enemy wants to impose on the most militant part of the subversive movement, the anarchists.

The anti-anarchist campaign which started from the “Halandri case” in 2009 as payback for the more and more increasing dynamic of the revolutionary structures after December (2008) continues nonstop, resulting in the stagnation of many of them and the internalization of fear from a large part of the revolutionaries.

On the other direction, the threat which aims besides enemy structures, persons-servants of the system is a strategy aiming at terrorization and the transfer of the terror to their field.

Its aim is the weakening and undermining of the psychology of the opponent. Depending on the level of violence chosen, the equivalent message is channelled. In the case therefore of destruction of the property of the person receiving the attack, the message is clear.

We chose therefore a day after the deposition of a release application of political prisoner Stella Antoniou to arrive outside the houses of 2 cops and torch their personal vehicles.

The first in the area of N.Ionias on Parthenonos belongs to the DIAS while the second in the area of Kupseli on the corner of Klisofou and Krousiou street seems to be overzealous when it comes to the security of Marietta Giannakou but doesn’t really show special attention to his.

We include this specific action in the multiform campaign for the release of political prisoner Stella Antoniou. Concerning the matter of solidarity which we believe should bilateral and aggressive towards the system, we accept that there are cases where the conditions requisite a demanding contest aiming at the liberation of fighters because of very specific conditions. This obviously does not put us in a position of defence against the state. A case like this is the case of Stella Antoniou who has serious health issues.

We continue to reinforce the internationalization of the anarchist-revolutionary action in the whole world through the attempt of the Informal Anarchist Federation-International Revolutionary Front (FAI-IRF).

Funny how these people use a phrase - "leaderless resistance" - popularised by the underground Nazi movement

Sigmund

You're right

21.02.2012 23:20

Yes your actions are "seemingly insignificant", but they do not "pierce directly into the heart of capitalist normality" - by actively alienating the overwhelming majority of ordinary, decent, working-class people from activist ideas and culture, the irony is that you actually reinforce capitalist normality.....

but you know that already

Russia's dumbest Anarchists

22.02.2012 08:50

So, because these cell phone towers happen to be in an area popular with hunters, any local residents who needs the emergency services can just fucking die? Right?

blue glasses

No Anarchy please, we're British.

22.02.2012 10:08

Don't you realise the majority of decent hard-working people are disgusted by your 'resistance'? Now be a good worker and stop this terrorism.

Daily Mail Reader

I wondered how long it would take the whining negativists to start...

22.02.2012 10:13

.. but I see they are complaining already.

I even have a mobile phone and I won't complain if they burn down the phone towers!

Come on people, the state destroys more in 5 minutes than these actions, but people rather than profits. So quit your whining and appreciate it.

anon

Stupid and pointless.

22.02.2012 10:22

These attacks are really pointless. The majority of ordinary working class people will just see this as vandalism. Also, what is the point in burning someone's BMW?

"Come on people, the state destroys more in 5 minutes than these actions, but people rather than profits. So quit your whining and appreciate it."

Explain please, which one of the attacks mentioned in this article was aimed at the state? Seems they were aimed at local cellphone companies

You are not worth the effort

22.02.2012 10:25

If you need to have explained to you why these actions took place and what they achieved you lack the intellectual ability to understand.

Go do some reading - educate yourself first before replying again.

The state of Anarchy by the time you reach 30

22.02.2012 15:54

"If you need to have explained to you why these actions took place and what they achieved you lack the intellectual ability to understand".

By the time you reach about 30, if you are still involved in the anarchist movement or scene, you realise that getting rid of capitalism is going to take a social movement then insurrection to do the job. This involves talking to people and endless work and time organising often petty things but actually making a difference to our common lives and increasing social solidarity and potential for change. Such activity although hard work makes for inspiring encounters with people who have never broken a window, burnt a bank or felled a mobile phone mast but are nonetheless revolutionary for that.

Unhitched from any social movement, small acts of sabotage have no real long-term or consequential effects on destroying power in all it's forms although they are satisfying to undertake nonetheless (and this may be one reason to undertake them in this dull boring life). Acts taken within a real social movement can have an effect but one without the other won't go far without popular support (such as The Poll Tax and numerous acts of sabotage that were widely supported by those who were refusing to pay).

Anarchists who by the time of reaching 30 can't be arsed to get a better critique or model of how to organise to destroy capitalism usually either give up and get on with a standard way of life or they remain in the punk scene where insurrectionary anarchism is seen as actually really doing something.

Tragically also sometimes those committing the acts are nicked and sent to prison where long sentences hardly seem worth it for the minimal political result. However, just to highlight, supporting these prisoners is vital even if we think the above and a lot of good stuff has been written about this particularly by Alfredo Bonanno who is influential on those on the insurrectionary tip.

This is not to say that any current anarchist organisation in the UK is any good but at least talking to other people about how to change the world is a bit better than slagging people's intellectual capabilities off because they can't understand how self-described 'terrorism' will bring any relief or change to their lives. In fact to say so is a bit elitist, no?

The Spanish Revolution 1936-1939 would not have amounted to much had it remained at the stage of bankrobbers and pistoleros but as part of wider movement it meant a lot. The bankrobbers and pistoleros were at the same time as robbing banks and shooting bosses were also part of building that mass anarchist movement.

No doubt, we can now enjoy a series of comments that tell me to 'fuck off' and so on but dont try to make sense of what has been argued above. Such is anarchist life. It;s important to make the argument anyhow.

All the people in the movement over 30 are wankers

22.02.2012 19:03

to paraphrase the wisdom of the elders "so just shut it kids, read this book and grow the fuck up. don't you know we've got a vegan bikeshop immigrant social centre collective to organise and a pizza workers union to really change things?"

yes, fuck off - there's no future.

Joy Division

Some seriously dumb comments here

23.02.2012 10:42

The point is that given the choice between depriving a rural community of access to the emergency services, or attacking something that actually would hurt the State instead, these idiots have to choice of selecting their targets slightly more intelligently (or they would have the choice if they were more intelligent, that is)

"The state destroys more in 5 minutes than these actions"? Yeah, but none of these mobile phone masts was actually owned by the State you stupid prick, so your argument is literally meaningless. These heroics are no more meaningful than if these jerks went round blowing up public toilets.

Pool cue

Anarchist and Proud?

23.02.2012 10:55

Is is the case that critics of these entry-level anarcho-fuck-ups are "are not worth the effort", or is it the case that their apologists are incapable of offering a coherent defence? On the strength of the comment by "Anarchist and Proud", definitely the latter. The fact that you're "proud" mate, doesn't actually mean your not stupid does it - there are lots of wankers in the Nationalist movement who harp on about how PROUD they are, but they're not exactly famous for their intelligence. It's not a question of whether you're proud or not, it's a question of whether you're RIGHT, and, even more, a question of whether you can explain WHY it is you're right to people who are not members of the Anarchist movement

As for the comment by Max Holz, vandalism etc may be an exciting alternative to life's monotony but the point is that STUPID vandalism actively alienates people from the mass movement that you hope to build up. From decades of political experience I can honestly say that far more people leave Anarchism because of people like these than join it, but, hey, what the hell, as long as you're all getting an adrenaline rush why bother even debating with your critics.....

More Freudian slips

23.02.2012 11:04

This thread starts off using the language of underground Nazi terrorism, then someone who takes the name of the Nazi "Joy Division" criticizes anarchists for organising stuff like "immigrant social centres", and (despite claiming association with vegan groups like the ALF) makes cynical comments about vegans

When are Indy mods going to wise-up and realise they're being taken for ride?

Sigmund

re: none of these mobile phone masts was actually owned by the State

23.02.2012 13:39

I think you are missing the point, which was why are you getting so hot and bothering about some symbolic anarchist vandalism, no matter who it is aimed at, when there are things a thousand times worse being done by other groups (the State, big companies) all the time?

Anyway, whether they are owned by the State or by corporations, it's all the same ruling class scratching each other's backs.

Totally agree this kind of action on its own won't achieve an anarchist utopia, but it doesn't claim to. We need both the day to day social organising and these kind of actions. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Revolutions are often sparked off by some minor act of defiance that snowballs up to bigger things.

I almost agree with you. Maybe I should have written that non-stupid sabotage can be useful in certain moments and is also something life affirming. Such an example might be the anti-GM sabotages of test sites which has kept GMO out of UK stores for a decade now. Or the mass use of sabotage and destruction during the Miner's Strike of 84-85 and the Wapping dispute of 86-87 which was something widespread and in many cases tacitly supported by many miners and printers and their supporters.

Birds, reality, and death

24.02.2012 17:40

"Using numbers from several long-term studies, conservation groups and government biologists estimate that communications towers kill from 4 to 50 million birds a year. They endanger or threaten at least 50 species."  http://www.learner.org/jnorth/tm/ToweringTroubles.html

What is more important - real lives, or your ability to have a mediated cell phone conversation in the middle of a forest? There are more lives at stake than just the opinions of "hard working people."
