Despite attemps to evict Palestine Place from 24 Grays Inn Road, Palestine place is still going strong; and has a full list of exciting events planned for tommorrow.

Despite attempts by the state of London’s security forces to illegally evict Palestine Place, a large turnout by local activists and the strength of occupiers within Palestine Place has resulted in the resistance of our first eviction attempt and a strong resolve to remain.

Standing in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the occupied territories in their struggle against evictions, apartheid, and oppression , we in Palestine Place will never surrender to the illegal eviction attempts of the security forces of the British state. We resolve to continue as planned with the program of events, workshops, and discussions and will open officially tomorrow at around 1pm to welcome members of the public.

All events scheduled for tomorrow 9and listed on our events page) will run as advertised and we urge anyone wishing to attend not to be put of by these thinly veiled attempts to crush the voices of the grass roots. Thanks to all those who came out to support and defend our right to create this space, and we hope to see you all in the coming weeks.

A more detailed release will come when the first meeting of activists in the space has drawn to a close and we have greater time to collect our thoughts.
