CPS charge animal rights activist
ARA | 12.06.2012 15:44 | Animal Liberation
The allegations have been denied by Mr. Knight. He said in an interview with the Alliance: "I'm disappointed that I have been charged"
"It is beggars belief that they actually have the time and money to prosecute innocent people".
Mr. Knight, a student and volunteer with the Animal Rights Alliance, has already said he will plead not-guilty to the offence and stated that "he looked forward to his day in court". Mr. Knight is already facing another trial in September for other animal rights-related offences.
