UAF Make Themselves Look Stupid
Michael Meriton | 13.11.2012 13:19 | Anti-racism | Migration | Social Struggles | Birmingham
Just posted on the UAF website is a leaflet asking people to tactically vote in this Thursday's PCC elections to stop the BNP candidate Simon Darby in Stoke.
http://uaf.org.uk/2012/11/vote-to-stop-bnp-edl/
Because the last time I checked the BNP are not standing a single candidate in the PCC elections, calling on the public to boycott the elections instead.
Surely an organisation that claims to be the UK's leading antifascist organisation would know a fact like this ?
Perhaps not it seems.

UAF should be using their public support...

Politicians and MPs should be kept well away from police affairs. They haven't got a clue and will just bend things to suit their parties manifest and beliefs regardless of whether it's what's best for the people.
Vote Independent.

You do realise that the independents will be infantilising authoritarian types too right? *facepalm*

Fuck AR nationalists

Racist animal rights people are in fact few and far between. AR is a decentralised movement that has come under ruthless attack by the state - anyone can pop up on Facebook and 'like' the EDL and SHAC, a situation that no-one can prevent.
All AR groups and sab groups that I have been involved with are also anti-racist and in general line with the rest of our movement e.g feminist, ecological etc.
However in the case of people espousing nationalist views that also happen to be vegan, they are rightfully targetted by anti-fascist groups and should be outright rejected by the AR movement.
