Police about to raid StopG8 convergence Centre

Masses of riot cops outside the StopG8 social space 40 Beak Street, W1. They are clearing the streets away and seem about to raid. Come and support if you can.

Please come and support if you can. But don’t let them intimidate us. The carnival will of course go ahead as planned, meeting at 12 Noon at Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus. With street party at Piccadilly Circus at 5.30PM. See you on the streets!

Pretty much everyone got out well in time. Well done to the brave few who volunteered to stay and guard the fort. Hopefully they'll be rewarded with big compo payouts as the police overstep their rules yet again. See you at the carnival!
