"TO RAPED (WOMEN) REFUCED AN ENTRY AT THE HEALTH CENTER DOORS

Cases revealed at least in Helsinki Capital.

Helsinki - According to the 'Tukinainen' - A Crises Centre for Raped Women-, have during the recent time raped women been refused an entry at the health centre doors at least in Helsinki Capital area.
Women seeking for medical examination have been -according to information received by STT- incited to make first a report of an offence and to get into a medical examination via the police."

According Tukinainen's psychology Riitta Raijas, raped people have been denied protection of law, and medical support belonging to these women. At the same time, these women have been forced to make a report of an offence to the police, of such an act taken towards them, that the raped persons might had decided else wise. [**]
