Norwich 2nd Anarchist Bookfair June 11th

Building on last years bookfair we're holding our second that promises to be bigger and better, with atleast ten thousand leaflets going out to the local communities and estates.


Stalls at the bookfair cost £15 for 120x75cm, £17.50 for 150x75 and £20 for 180x75cm. There is a discount of £2.50 offered to each group that can provide a person to help out for an hour. Cheques must be made payable to Norwich Anarchists.

We recommend people book as early as possible as we will allocate tables on a first come first served basis.

There will be stalls from a wide range of groups, including East Anglian Animal Rights Coalition, Schnews, Class War, Notes From The Borderland, Norwich Anarchists and Norwich Anarchist Students, WOMBLES, Coperate Watch, Socialist Party of Great Britian, International Solidarity Movement, Radical Roots, Earth First, Active Distribution, A-Books, Norwich Stop The War Coalition, Ipswich Anarchists, Freedom, Womens Health, Norwich and District Trades Council and more....

There will be cheap food available, face painting for kids and a Swap Shop - so bring what you don't want, and leave with something you do.

11.35 - 12.05 ANTIFA on direct action against fascism

12.10 - 1.10 Dave Douglass on The Miners and The Law

1.15 - 2.45 Mark Barnsley on repression and resistance in prisons

2.50 - 3.50 Coporate Watch on Resisting the coporate invasion of Iraq; oil workers against privitisation


Music and Entertainment -

From noon onwards there will be acoustic music by various local folk and protest bands. There will be performances by anti war street theatre group Theatre Of War throughout the day, and from 4.00 - 5.00 there will be world beats, breaks bass and drum from DJ's Fuchsia Sounds

SCHNEWS will be presenting their G8 special - Have I Got Schnews For You? at 5.00pm

The day will be rounded off courtesy of DJ Booty playing a set of ska and reggae from 6.00 - 7.00.
