Software Patents Forum
Yesterday a very interesting forum on Software patents was held in Cambridge. After listening to a speaker from the Foundation for a Free Information Infrastructure (FFII), various candidates in the upcoming European elections gave submisisions on their position on the issue. This was then followed by a wide ranging discussion on the subject. Here's what came out of the event for me.

Because of working at an old concept of magnetic field I needed to know how a body falls or accelerates under different thermal conditions. By looking for experiments or mathematical data I have noticed that nobody has ever tried it. So I tried myself and as usually if you check the event you get the big surprise:The hottest has a faster acceleration, making the Law of falling body WRONG, and also all the other laws related to it.

A difficult day in Palestine
A friend in Palestine just emailed me this article. Formation of the Cambridge Action Network
The formerly nameless group of people who perpetrated the fearsome May Day Picnic in the Grafton Centre has now decided after a vigourous debate to call itself the Cambridge Action Network. The group has also adopted the PGA Hallmarks and affiliated to the Dissent! Network organizing against the G8 summit to be held in Scotland next year.
