the forward intelligence team were notable by their absence, despite a substantial number of luminaries of the london activist and anarchist community available for modelling - perhaps 'wanker' neil and his colleagues have finally got enough pics? - probably not.
some time around eleven, the bailliffs turned up, took a look, made a couple of phone calls and went away.
er, that's it.

My personal view is that they came down just to check up the situation at the Square, and then report back to their bosses at the council. And that is precisely why it was great that people like you made it this morning down there. The fact that the these council officers, bailiffs, or whatever they may be, came at midd morning and then left, it doesn't mean that they 'came and went'. They could have turned up again later on, with a bigger crew from the council, or more probably on a later day.
So, great you stayed till 2pm .. and by the way, you could have got some food from the kitchen if you were starving :-)
