- A workshop with legendary 'Food Not Bombs' co-founder Keith McHenry ( http://tinyurl.com/yc76xqu)
- Report backs from the Gaza Freedom March (www.gazafreedommarch.org)

ABOUT THE GATHERING
Peace News Winter Gathering 2010 has developed out of Peace News Summer Camp 2009 (www.peacenewscamp.info), which created a real sense of liberation for participants. The Gathering is a space of mutual respect in which activists from different groups and movements, who hold diverse views on fundamental issues, can share experiences, information and insights – and can learn more about each other.

WHAT PEOPLE LIKED ABOUT THE PN SUMMER CAMP
Some quotes from Summer Campers:

“The fascinating and engaging discussions, debates and conversations that seemed to be taking place all the time all over the camp. Fantastic networking amongst groups and individuals.”

“Camaraderie, challenge, ideas, stimulation, re-energising, contacts, space for input and importing information, wood collecting, tree climbing, tripod, all ages, relaxed feeling, lovely food, fire.”

“The spirit of the occasion. Also the chance to discuss in depth issues we have been campaigning for/support and of course meeting folk and getting to learn new ideas and about ‘them’ as people.”
“Discussions, relationships, people, depth of thought. LOVED IT!”

THE ACTION ON THE MONDAY (18 JANUARY)
A nonviolent action against a local arms trade company will take place at 10am on the Monday (18 January). Phone 07929 123 314 on the day for location if you have not attended the planning meeting on Sunday.
