How Deep Is the Atlantic Divide Really?

If the people of the world were a happy family, then the so-called Atlantic relationship would be the nasty generation conflict dragging on at the extent of everyone else. But it is not so, since a kid that takes a sweet from the kitchen jar is harmless fun while a politician who facilitates a corrupt business deal is a threat to many lives. Though every aspect in the comparison is being scaled in size, the margin of inefficiency for a lethal failure to occur remains the same but takes quite a different percentage in the two scenarios. While the occasional hungry kid cannot loot the kitchen that much that anyone starves, already a little monetary incentive taken by a politician can cost the lives of a possibly unlimited number of people. For the purpose of an evaluation of the appropriateness of leniency that comparison is just unsuitable, since any shared criterion between the two situations would only amount to an attempt to balance false negatives with false positives. The organisation of large populations requires different structures than that of small ones, but that challenge is proven to be shrinkable to the effort of organisation among large numbers of small populations. The mathematical illusion of demographic scalability however does not add up any other than to a systematic failure to resolve the conflict. This gives the Atlantic divide a kind of surreal notion, since unless collapse of the centralist structure has occurred on either side this specific illusion of it cannot not be expected to disappear. But the contradiction in that relationship is widening, and that makes it more likely for the most favourable scenario to occur. It could also be said that the parting of ways between the two hemispheres is the necessary precondition for humanity to survive the era of unsaturated growth at whose end the logic of sustainable sustainability is locating us. Being its oldest toxic legacy, the deepening of the Atlantic divide signifies the finiteness of that era.
Written from a position of fundamental opposition against either one, this analysis is not going to pick a side. While the North Americans on one hand behave childish and still demand to be treated as grown-ups, the Europeans on the other like to be respected as ancestors but still act as if they wanted to be heirs. It is virtually impossible what these cultures demand from each other: The Americans expect their ancestors to look up to them, and the Europeans are expecting to inherit their own descendants. Neither desire is anyhow realistic, and since the political ideas of the two sides are both delusional their implementation would predictably lead into fundamental contradictions such as the mathematical one elaborated above. This is already happening and carrying in its midst a hope for change, as a post-Atlantic world in which no such relationship burdens the hemispheres with its permanent problems would be the most favourable outcome.
It is due to begin with a comparison representing a significant shift of focus as the result of the High Noon Test. Had the last changing of presidents in the Washington regime brought a shift from an Atlantic to a Pacific focus of North American imperialism, as expressed in the influx of troops into Australia and East Asia, the end of the Armistice Period in the Korean theatre of battle although not ending that tendency effectively killed its purpose, the substitution of the damaged Atlantic relationship with a Pacific kind of replacement. Today the current head of state of Unitedstates who has come in on Pacific credentials despite all “superior fire-power” (i.e. collateral damage) is not overblown in Asia and any supposed “shock and awe” (i.e. surprise effect) is not the case. In fact, immense doubts are being raised over the wild assertions on the alleged lack of international legal background of Crimea´s entry into Russia. As a result of this, the North Americans came once again to assert that Europe was more important to them. Quite obviously the opposite is the case, as the ominous silence over the continuation of the spying scandal signifies. This became openly visible with the cellphone leaks when it turned out that they were spying against their own allies. With this experience in mind, the denial was not anyhow credible and the assertions of close agreement had a ring of wishful thinking.
How far away the two sides actually are from each other can be seen from a simultaneous entitlement: The remainder of Nato, the politically defunct nuke pool of the Armistice Period, was given to a discarded politician from Norway, that is entirely separated from the military leadership of the EU, as that is what it is – an elephant´s graveyard for this kind of characters that are being produced by the defunct political system, just like German state television. It is one of the inexplicable whims of the fossil fuel lobby that it does rather keep up the toxic entity in such a deprecated form than scrap it in its entirety. Maybe the latter would be more of an indication of consensus than of division, such as a new alignment with the EU apparatus. After the spying and its leaks resulted in the collapse of Nato´s Afghanistan farce, the Norwegian assignment signifies the opening divide between Nato and EU. Without suitable purpose beyond military aggression, the military-diplomatic shipwreck that has yet to go the way of the Warsaw Treaty Organisation is a groundless pit as well which can only raise any further money if represented by a regime which Washington can influence more than Brussels.
That spoils any expectations for the depraved legacy hunters in Brussels to pursue the scenario of direct hostile takeover of an imperialist military apparatus no longer powered by a collapsing currency. As each side speculates on the scenario that the other currency would collapse first and its rubble could be taken over and spare it from the same for a generation, that outsourcing to yet another fossil oil dependent currency is the diplomatic workaround for the now obvious gap between the two sides. Not quite a stable bridge though, with the most likely outcome being the Quisling scenario in case of which the twin currency collapse would make the cryptofascist military-industrial complex front-end become openly fascist to rival the EU from within. Matter of fact is, the handling of the military atomic waste that currently is in the hands of Nato has been rearranged in a way which expresses the total breakdown of trust between the two administrations. Even among the spies, which stick closes together, a significant rupture has occurred.
This can be observed from the anew insider sabotage spree in the belly of the beast, in the inner organs of the imperialist military-industrial complex. Again an employee has recognised, possibly from enemy information, that the entire world view of the Washington regime is extinction-level insane, first of all expressed in the absurdity of its own role in the machinery of identity abuse and dignity denial and went on an endeavour of mutiny, only to be soon found lynched on the butcher´s hook of helpless stigmatisation. For a suicide army, due to its unrealistic role, which keeps going by scaring it host society into even higher civilian suicide rates, an allegation of psychiatrist disease must be interpreted as its own opposite, a certification of sanity indicating that at some point mindless collaboration with the obvious lies of the evil apparatus was consciously refused by the target. The science-clad infantile dehumanisation of the practical opponent is necessary for the depraved apparatus in order to deceive itself over the fact of its own lying and avoid any serious consideration of rational argument, which if freely possible would inevitably lead to retroactive recognition of the truth by which the evildoers employed in the former were hit.
The total ideological degradation of the occasional insider drop-out, who has seen the light from under the emotional dictatorship of the money cult of capitalist psychiatry and begins to draw the consequences from understanding what he is and what he has done up to that point, is essential for the suicidal rule of lies to persist. To postpone its immediate collapse, it is in need of ideological projections suggesting its purpose was anything else than totally wrong and detrimental to the human mind, and such illusion is obtained from its loathing of awakening renegades. It is this fundamental moral inferiority of imperialism that does not only drive its greed and aggression but also takes the issue of its lying to a level at which it permeates any and every reproductive system of it. The inside deserter had to be defined as posthumously crazy for the suicidal army to continue its collective suicide project, which is in fact crazy because a kind of oppression so permanently failing to reach any of its alleged objectives can only continue to imagine itself as something else than evil by believing its own lies.

These incidents are reliable indicators that the external relationships of an empire are being shaken in their deepest foundations, by political shocks insider knowledge of which is powerful enough to cause a real rupture in the world view of its perpetrators leading to the violent awakening effects as is the desire for the bizarre rhetorical mud used to plaster over the cracks in the official illusion. Hence the deeper meaning of the anew mutiny inside the worst of the worst hierarchies of entitled psychopaths within the military-industrial complex is that its targeted lobbying has so profoundly failed that not only external relationships like the Atlantic one(s) are falling apart but internal hierarchies as well. It can therefore be said that the divide produced by the alienation people experience from the Washington regime and its misguided spying efforts is in fact deeper than this or that ocean and cuts into the apparatus of that regime itself.
Regardless which place or person the group that had to go through a militant readjustment of purpose which ended up lethal because of the hierarchy´s incapability to cope with the truth even when it comes from inside was planning or preparing to attack, the occurrence of mutiny in parts of the apparatus which could only with great difficulties be targeted by an outside attacker is the most visible sign of humiliating defeat in the propaganda war. It is the acknowledgement that an empire is hit by a morally superior opponent and challenged on an entirely different level than it could be by a mere rival of comparable intentions. The Atlantic divide has become deeper than the superficial difference between the oppression exerted by the EU and/or the nation states of which it is comprised and that projected by the imperialism devouring North America. It now is a divide between the planetary grasp for abolition, emancipation and disarmament and an ever more morbid imperialism and its useless proxies and rivals around the world. This is an antagonism that is to stay until that empire is done, signifying the existential challenge to the rule of lies embodied by the military-industrial complex whose more murky segments have once again been brought into public awareness by the moral turnaround of an individual – still an evildoer, for otherwise he would not have come into that role, but a rare exception of intelligent life within a violently stupid and fundamentally wrong machinery.
It is a phenomenon which cannot be found in the European or other instances of fascism: The technological short-cut that puts social progress ahead of technical progress resulting in the internal disintegration of lying hierarchies. Rarely this is being brought about without any real fear of collapse of illusion, and the whistle-blower with a gun (or gun-blower if you like) can only be found in North America because only there fascism is without an ethnic foundation. EU countries suffer the same rule of lies, and similar death squads within the military-industrial complex there, plus an illegal occupation, but suffering a much higher pressure of homogeneity from early on there is less room for spontaneous insight to arise. Ironically this makes such mutiny not only an indication of entirely damaged relationships to the rest of the world, but also supports the explanation that the military-industrial complex is a parasitic fremdkorper which by means of these symptoms displays its theoretical and practical incompatibility with the desires of the population.
The ideology of democracy and its degradation of the individual argument to a mere number in a ballot calculation is not suitable to plaster over the divisions resulting from its pursuit. The democracy of the spies and soldiers is an unhealthy ideal which cannot stand the sovereignty of these who refuse to participate in its lies. And that is at the root of the oceanic divides surrounding the ailing empire and its demented legacy hunters – all these have been vigorously kicked out of the situations they aimed to penetrate, so that the result was not only a clean cut into the international relationships in between but also into the illusion of normalcy in which the useless suicide army continues to wallow itself. It may only be a small incident for a large military-industrial complex, but it is an iconic image for a future which loves humanity more than that. When the truth cannot set the evildoers of our species free because they are stuck in their hierarchies, it can at least destroy that apparatus and thereby set free the rest of us.
