Student Climate Project launching their Tour of Climate Action! Come along!
The Student Climate Project's Tour of Climate Action will see events at campuses around the country in 2008. The first event is being held in Cambridge from the 15th to 17th of February, and will see an exciting three days of arts, action, education, and also a chance to for everyone to get involved in the planning for the tour's future. The aim of the Student Climate Project, run through consensus decision making, is to encourage the wider body of students to take radical action against climate change. The Project came out of talks held at the Heathrow Climate Camp in August.Tour for Climate Action launch gathering next week
The Student Climate Project is having a Launch Gathering at The Common Place in Leeds from 4pm on the 19th January till 4pm the following day. Crash space and vegan food is to be had by all. The main focus of the gathering is to plan for our Tour of Climate Action, which will see exciting events take place on campuses across the UK throughout 2008.Local skill sharing for environmental and social change.

A new grass roots project will be launched January 2008 at Ringsfield eco study centre nr Beccles, Suffolk.
The project involves local community skill sharing plus experts from across the country coming together to run workshops for environmental and social change. (this is a non profit making project. )All sessions will be run as cheaply as possible and be open to all.
Sust-education have been lucky enough to be able to use the beautiful Ringsfield Hall eco study Centre as a venue, 14 acres of amazing parkland........

Hey all. There will be a meeting on Sat May 5 at 7pm for anyone in Cambridge and East Anglia generally who is interested in going to the Camp for Climate Action on August 14-21, 2007. Climate Camp 2007 will take place from August 14th to 21st. Planning is already well under way and we need everyone to get involved and make it happen.The next national organising gathering will be in Leeds on Sat and Sun Feb 17th/18th. It will be at The Common Place in Leeds city centre and vegan food, accommodation and creche will be provided (please contact us with accommodation, creche or any other needs though so we can plan ahead).
