Anti-nuclear groups excluded from meeting

You can protest over here Groups and individuals who were know to have anti-nuclear views were excluded from a 'community engagement' event organised by Suffolk Coastal and Suffolk County councils. This left people attending with a one side of the arguement about economic impacts of nuclear new build presented by EdF.

the camp at sizewell Some folk in East Anglia would like to invite people to come across to the beautiful Sizewell beach in Suffolk for our fourth annual camp. When Principles of Journalism are Betrayed

The articles looks at the various reports published about the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists, and then tries to work out the reason behind reports which came out on the subject by anonymous officials. Taking into account that quoting un-named officials is a well known tactic often used by dictatorial regimes, the article tries to find out the reasoning behind the issue.

Anti-nuclear camp / Chernobyl 25th anniversary at Sizewell - pics

The Stop Nuclear Power Network  http://stopnuclearpoweruk.net staged a four-day anti-nuclear camp on the beach beside Sizewell nuclear power station in Suffolk, eastern England from 22-25 April 2011. Campers marked the 25th anniversary of Chernobyl, the world's worst ever nuclear accident, on 26 April 1986, and sent out a clear message: 'No' to nuclear greenwash, 'Yes' to sustainable alternatives.

Sizewell blockade - Feb 2010 (Credit: M. Harrison) Anti-nuclear campaigners again walk free from court / case dismissed

Two anti nuclear campaigners, Andreas Speck (46) from London and Ian Mills (45) from Chippenham, who appeared at Lowestoft Magistrates Court today (4 January) on charges of "failing to leave land" (S69(3)(a) CJPOA 1994) when they blockaded Sizewell nuclear power station in Suffolk on 22 February 2010 [1] walked free after the case was dismissed when the prosecution did not offer any evidence.
