Please help Humaira Qudoos HO Ref Q1043430 - Due to be forcibly removed at 5pm on Sunday evening.
URGENT!
At 5.15pm on Friday evening Humaira Qudoos' old lawyer received a fax from the Home Office informing him that fresh removal directions had been set for 5pm on Sunday evening.
Humaira and her three daughters are due to be taken from Heathrow to Karachi in Pakistan on Pakistan International Airlines flight PK788 at 17.00 hours on Sunday 25 November.

Report: Tyneside March in Solidarity Against Immigration Prisons

On 22nd September Tyneside Community Action for Refugees organised a march from the West End to the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, in solidarity with the international day of actions against immigration prions called by the No Borders network, which in Britain centred on a march against the building of another detention centre near Gatwick airport.

Solyman Rashed was killed in Iraq on 3rd September, two weeks after being deported. There will be a vigil to remember him in George Square, Glasgow, this Thursday from 5.30 to 6.30pm.

The African woman who found herself charged with 7 counts of police assault after a brutal and humiliating dawn raid on her home was acquitted yesterday. The jury trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court lasted the whole week and represented a further ordeal for a severely traumatised woman.

Protest at Dawn Raid on Tyneside 05.09.07

This morning a Sri Lankan family was snatched by immigration from their home in Benwell, Newcastle. They have been active with TCAR standing up for the rights of all against the Home Office. TCAR members mobilised through the Pledge of Resistance to protest against the dawn raid, but regular cops were already on the scene and prevented other members of TCAR from even entering the street.

Urgent Action Needed for Ikram Family

The Ikram Family - Mohammed Kashif, his wife Ansa Kashif and their three children, Farid Ali, Abdul Rehman and Abdul Momin - were detained on Tuesday 31st July at the Home Office in Glasgow when they went to sign on.

The Family were taken to Dungavel Immigration Removal Centre. On Wednesday, after a check up by the doctor at Dungavel, Mohammed was transferred to hospital. Mohammed suffers from high blood pressure and in the past has had to be admitted into hospital in emergencies as a result. They're due to be forcibly removed from the UK on Saturday 4th July at 20:30hrs on a Gulf Air flight number GF006 to Pakistan.

DAWN RAID in Glasgow this morning

This morning at 7.00am the Home Office Immigration Enforcement Team and Strathclyde Police arrested a family at 10 Red Road Court in what was the first dawn raid in Glasgow since the Waku family were taken in March earlier this year.
