The United Nations wildlife conference in Qatar this week, where delegates from 175 countries gathered to make decisions on the protection of recently endangered species, has pulled grey clouds over the world of conservation. The CITES meeting failed to add the threatened Atlantic bluefin tuna to the Appendix I listing of the CITES legislation, which would have resulted in a ban on the international trade of the fish.

18-02-2010 18:59 | SOCPA | Animal Liberation | Bio-technology | Repression | South Coast | World

Plans were unveiled in October 2009, that's FIVE MONTHS AGO, to build a new animal testing lab park in Stevenage. They plan to open the project, fully built in 2011. This should be opposed with a National campaign. We want to know what is being done to stop this animal lab science park. Is anything being done? We are aware that Brendan co ordinates UK Animal Rights / ARC. What will be done?

Adrian Radford. A hoax, diversion and paid by Cancer Research UK?

15-02-2010 02:04 | Animal Liberation | Bio-technology | Social Struggles | South Coast | World

The farce that is the "Adrian Radford" story. Adrian Radford claimed that he infiltrated SHAC who he describes as the ALF. He runs a "surveillance instruction" outfit and claims that he was working for MI6 [SIS]. He came out publicly and claimed that he was "responsible" for the info given to police about SHAC [leaving the real moles to carry on]. We think his real employer was Cancer Research UK.
