Iran at the crossroads: Revolution or Bargaining?

Street Protests in 7th weeks in Iran The “family fight” between the so called reformists and hardliners is not our fight. If the middle classes succeed in bringing the working classes to it side and turn on the engine of the revolution and only then all these political flirting will go to its rightful place; the trash can of history. Get off the internet, I'll see you in the streets!

A bunch of reports today talk about the harmful effects of so-called social networking websites and how infact they isolate and separate people. When reading this it might be worth substituting some of the websites and concepts with things closer to home for users of this site and analysis what role activist sites such as indymedia really have in bringing forward the revolution or advancing radical struggle. Craig Murray at the Cambridge Law School occupation

On Tuesday 28th night, Craig Murray, the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan was invited by the assembly of the occupation for a talk. Last week saw the four year process finally come to a close with a whimper. Normally the mainstream press would be celebrating about the company getting their way, but the victory was hollow and the protestors came out with more than they went in with. Read on for the full account of the abuse of the law and process by Huntingdon and their solicitors, Lawson-Cruttenden.
